Had the worst experience from such prestige restaurant. It all begin with them messing up our booking. Our booking was in their log book. However, there weren't any table available as there was an event. When we made the booking, the staff did not inform us that there will be an event that night as well. After a series of drama, we finally got a room/table. During these series of drama, the restaurant manager - Zarah, never once apologize to us for messing up our bookings. She was just frowning and reply to us rudely. Fast forward, now that we were seated for almost 10mins, no one came to even give us the menu. I had to go out personally, grab 1 of the waiter to request for menu. Service was slow - drinks especially. Food service was slow as well. When we asked for the bill, there was a dispute. The rude Restaurant Manager - Zarah, came to the room with her face all frowning and rudely questioning us and honestly, I felt insulted by the way she reacted. She made it sounded like we were lying to her over that 1 pint of beer that never came. Again after the entire drama, she never once apologize for the inconvenience caused from the bookings to the slow service and the bill dispute. She just rudely walked out of the room. Honestly, from the experience, they don't deserve a single star. Their only saving grace were Hasbie and Sathis. Hasbie was the designated waiter serving us. He was very apologetic and with all smiles whole night even though I believe he was having a hard time dealing with his Manager. It's is pitch black and too dark to eat on the balcony where the view is meant to be. The food is barely visible. When the staff serve water, they only serve 1/3 of the people on the table and forget the rest. You have to ask them to serve water up to 3 times before all the people on the table get served. The staff say, "Yes, yes," to everything but don't understand anything. I was charged for a dish that I ordered but was not served (thai fish cake). Due to the darkness of the environment we were served in (on the balcony), I was not aware that the dish was not served. And accidentally paid for it. - Update on this item: The floor manager Zara apologised for this error and professionally resolved this matter. The staff taking family photos using their own phone. Saying it's to show their manager for sales record purposes. Huh? Don't they have the receipts to prove that? I gave them a birthday cake with 7 candles to bring out at the end of the meal.
