Nice-looking place, but honestly, confirm not worth the price lah.
Atmosphere: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
Quite a chill and comfy spot, nicely decorated, and fully air-conditioned (since it’s in a mall). Good for lepak before a movie, but that’s about it.
Service: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5)
Self-service style—order, pay, and wait for your buzzer. Nothing wrong with that, but for the price, at least bring the food to the table lah.
Food: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5)
Ordered the Mango Snowflake, but honestly, it’s just shaved ice with some mango on the side. Taste-wise, it’s okay but super basic, nothing exciting. At this price, where’s the wow factor?
Price: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5)
RM35.90 for shaved ice? Eh, for that price, I can makan a full meal with drinks and still got change. Super overpriced for what you get.
Parking: ★★★☆☆ (3/5)
Mid Valley parking—if you know, you know. Can be a headache if you come at peak hours.
Final Thoughts
Would I come back? No need lah. The place looks nice, but food and value don’t match up.
Better Alternative: Flurry by Fluffy (SS3, PJ) – ★★★★★ (5/5)
If you want shiok shaved ice, go to Flurry by Fluffy. Their ice is super fine means the ice is not just cold instead it feel breezed , flavorful, and got different toppings so every bite is different. This one...
Read moreToday, we went to Snowflake at Mid Valley. While my wife was queuing to order, I chose a seat to wait. Suddenly, a female staff member named Qurratu Aini (as stated on the receipt), who was wearing a black hijab, dark blue top, and notably the only one not wearing a mask (all other staff were wearing masks), rudely confronted me.
I understand the policy that customers must order first before being seated, but the way she spoke to me was extremely rude and condescending as if she owned the place.
What makes it even more disappointing is that I’ve dined at this same Snowflake Mid Valley branch multiple times before, and this is the first time I’ve ever encountered such treatment.
I’ve also visited other Snowflake branches many times, and the staff have always been polite and professional but this experience was just shocking.
What’s worse is that I noticed customers of other races were allowed to sit while waiting for their friends or partners to order yet I was singled out. That kind of double standard is truly disappointing.
The dessert itself was okay, but the service completely ruined the experience. I won’t be coming back to this...
Read moreWe visited here for an after-dinner treat as a group of three around 8:20 pm. It was crowded at that time, but we were lucky to get seats right away after we ordered.
Their Ceylon Snowfetti immediately caught our attention, and it turned out to be the best decision we made! It features shaved ice flavored with Ceylon Tea, topped with taro balls, boba pearls, and grass jelly. The Ceylon flavor is subtle, not overpowering, giving a refreshing and cooling sensation, ideal for those who crave a dessert that’s not too sweet and doesn’t leave you thirsty afterwards.
We shared this bowl between the three of us and finished it in no time! The ordering process was quick and easy at the cashier, and we were seated right away. If you prefer individual servings, you can ask for smaller bowls instead of sharing from the main bowl.
Highly recommend this, and we’ll definitely be ordering it again. If you haven’t tried it yet,...
