I never miss the chance to stop by here whenever I'm at Mid Valley! My go-to order is always the ST03 set, paired with A01 (spicy pork belly) and B01 (spicy eggplant). Some might find the flavors a bit repetitive, but for me, the spice is so delicious and memorable that I don’t mind having both dishes every time.
The level of spiciness is just right for my taste, packed with garlicky, fragrant flavors that pair perfectly with the white rice. The eggplant even comes with bits of pork lard, adding extra richness. The set also includes side dishes like pickled cucumber and either peanuts or crackers. Just note that drinks need to be ordered separately, as they’re not included in the set.
We visited around 6pm on a weekend and had no trouble finding seats. Our food arrived in about 10 minutes.
We used to frequent their branches in Sunway Pyramid and Taipan, but unfortunately, both have closed down. Now, Mid Valley is the closest place where I can still enjoy this meal. House of Pok remains one of my must-visit spots whenever I'm in the area, and my partner and friends love it too! Hopefully they can expand again and bring more branches around...

Let's start with the good. The braised pork porridge is nice as well as the tripe and salted veg soup. Flavourful and also smooth porridge. The hakka pork fungus and the Bak kut Teh is passable although the sauce has jelly like bits in it. I'm not sure why.
Improvement areas: the braised lotus root has been braised so long that its super soft and we had dark and lighter ones (old and new) mixed into one bowl. The clove is overpowering which means they have left the cloves in the braising sauce too long or used too much. Spoils the taste and given it had lost its crisp from over cooking, this is just a poor overall dish. The minced pork biscuit has been blended so much it tastes like a pork ball and doesn't have the texture a pork biscuit should have. Supposed to be firm yet loose. As owners I hope you can take back this feedback and get it to...
Read moreHouse of Pok 小猪猪 at Mid Valley is a great place for hearty, pork-focused meals that hit the spot. The menu offers a good variety — from braised pork belly rice, pork chop noodles, to comforting soup-based dishes — all made with tender, flavorful cuts of pork.
The braised pork belly is especially worth trying — melt-in-your-mouth texture with rich, savory gravy that pairs perfectly with rice. Their clear soup options are also light yet flavorful, great for a balanced meal. Side dishes like lou bak and onsen egg are well-prepared and add a nice touch.
The restaurant has a clean, cozy ambiance with modern decor, and the service is quick and polite. Pricing is reasonable for a mall outlet, and portion sizes are satisfying. Whether you’re craving something comforting or just love pork, House of Pok delivers a solid...
