4Fingers Crispy Chicken • Mid Valley — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

First time try 4fingers, walked in and was asked to order online by scanning QR.

After ordered, the page ask me to collect drink first. I wait in my seat for 5 min then only go to collect my frink. (Thinking that would give them time to prepare). But nope, both staff just sitting there. So i show them my phone order, then only one of them prepare for me.

After around 8min, my number is called. When I collect, the same staff prepared both the drinks and want to give me. I told her, she literally prepared the same drinks to me just now.

When I sat down, I found my side dish is tater tots, I ordered kimchi fries. So i took it to them and say I didnt order these. They said today no kimchi fries so gave me TTT. (how can they just give me something else without asking me?)

I only got 1 order, (for myself) another one still not received (foe my daughter). I tried to track order, my order is #725. I key in order number and my last 4 digit phone number but it says order not found. So I pressed 'back' on my android phone but it redirect back to the payment page...I press back a few times, it returned to the original front page (dine in or take-away) page. No longer showing me the order page, so now I couldnt track or check back what i ordered.

Waited 15min still the 6pcs chicken wingss hasn't come, so I go and ask what happen. Together me and the staff standing in front of the kitchen window to ask, then the staff inside kitchen just took the chicken from a kitchen top and gave me. meaning it has already prepared and left inside the kitchen. Then the side dish is again tatertot. I ordered plain fries for my daughter. I complained to them why keep giving me tatertot they say fries no stock. I told them why dont inform me and ask what options I can choose from? they say I ordered via online nothing they can do.

Its really bad experience and I did not enjoy my meal here at all. Probably my first and last time...

WORTH the QUEUE for the CHICKEN WINGS... YES they are really EXTRA CRISPY. u can choose the flavour or have the mixed flavour...but my fave is the spicy one.

the wings is a nice "takeaway" food to eat at home comfortably with a nice cold beer (tv dinner anybody?).

other reviewers commented the chicken was oily/greasy, but most of the time i got no problem with it. maybe 1x it was a bit oilier than normal. it is definately less oily compared to, let's say....kfc.

be prepared for a medium to long queue during peak lunch/dinner hour and during weekends. also need to wait for seats to be available in a super cramped dining area. and need to prepare tissues to wipe clean the dirty table (okok i am ocd abt this) as turnover is high n staff who is supposed to clean the table is nowhere to be found...maybe there ain't any cleaning staff???

not the most comfortable place to eat at...it is an 'eat quickly & go' kinda place. don't hang around to chit chat after u hv finished as others who are dying to eat there will stare at u til u leave. if u got tiny kid(s) and lots of shopping bags/groceries, forget it. nowhere for you to put things & hard to put babychair in the cramped place.

i also had the calamari rings. was shocked about the teeny portion. not worth it as i felt the price is too high (over rm20) for just a few miserable calamari rings. theres other places for good calamari rings with double the portion and half the price n...

The attitude of a waitress was so terrible, unfriendly and cold as if we did something to upset her the moment we entered the premise (Only two waitresses that day, the senior was friendly and professional). No greetings (even a simple gesture or a smile), not even an “okay” or “thank you” when I placed my order. No eye contact with customer, only focusing on cellphone, only reacts grudgingly when asked about the menu. It’s a weekday morning, not lunch hour and not even crowded and only one table besides us, perhaps she had a really really bad day, or simply she just doesn’t like serving customers.

Ordered a Tartar Burger and Crispy Skin on a weekday, in general the foods were okay, the Tartar sauce alone was good despite others were merely satisfactory. The skin is crispy but lack of flavors.

The environment was clean and comfortable, however the trays have some sticky stains on it and oily stains on most tables (most probably we were the second pax of customers of the day so thin chances it was made by previous customers on the same day).

To be honest, I can only think of and remember the bad service during and after my meal, because it was the first impression I got the moment I visited and so impactful. Seriously, please educate your staff, talk to them and try to find out...
