First timer here. Was dragged by my friends for lunch. It was Sunday and no queue whatsoever. Our timing was great.
Food is absolutely delicious! Coffee is also great with HK style. Fried pork chop, chickenchop, pan fried chicken chop steak, pan fried porkchop vege rice — all good. Not sure if we were just hungry but really we love the taste!
We love everything here except fow the service. Service is slow and we’re supposed to order dessert but we keep calling the waiter, he looked very tired - pity him. We just decided not to order lol.
When we left we saw the queue started and the crowd gets in. I guess there’s a reason why people come here - food is good, but service could be better.
Love their menu tho, Menu is cool - huge selection of meals. Another reason to go back to try new meals on their menu.
I suggest before you visit - set your self an expectation that you need to queue and due to lots of people - staff could get overwhelmed - so expect slowness too on their service. We all could hope that they will improve in the future because food is great.

A trip to the Mid Valley Megamall (MVEC) for the Mapex show called for a nostalgic lunch break at Kim Gary Restaurant! It had been a while since my last visit, but the craving for their signature dish was undeniable.
As expected, the place was buzzing during lunchtime. Yet, I managed to snag a table and order my all-time favorite – the instant noodle with luncheon meat. The first bite brought back a wave of memories – the taste and quality remain exactly as I remembered them from my very first visit to Kim Gary. It's a testament to their consistency that this simple dish continues to deliver such satisfaction.
The bustling atmosphere added to the experience, reminding me of the restaurant's enduring popularity. If you're looking for a taste of Hong Kong-style comfort food in a lively setting, Kim Gary Restaurant is definitely worth a try. Highly...
Read moreJust amazing to see this place bustling with people for breakfast so early at mid valley on a Sunday. Maybe is because of mother's for this is something usual. Ordering by scanning didn't worked for me after 3 tries but got through on the 4th try. Staff was helpful - even run to bring me the order slip to do the order for me personally, thank you. There's many choices here. I go for breakfast set - chicken chop breakfast set that comes with a drink too. I was attracted by the 2 eggs. They also give us choice of how the egg and how it should be done on the ordering website itself. As for my drink, usually I would order yin yong when I go to any HK restaurants but I notice many tables have tis darker colour than yin yong drink so I decided to order HK style coffee. Omg it turns out to be so nice. Honestly, I never get to taste nice drinks when eating...
