Today, (15th may 2024), I came to this SUKIYA restaurant in aeon maluri for the second (2nd) time for my lunch. This I met PUTERI , Mr. TRAVIS and ADILAH again 🤗. The rice is even better than the first time and taste like the rice in Japan as I’ve lived there for 15 years. Other suits that I’ve tried the rice is so different from Sukiya aeon Maluri. Perhaps the other branches must learn from this SUKIYA branch. It tastes so good here so I won’t be going to another sukiya because the taste here is better and the staff/employees here are Super polite and friendly 👍👍👍❤️🙏👌🤗. Thanks again to Mr. Travis, Puteri, Adilah, Mila Hani and Azmiera. They are all super friendly and courteous and smiling all the time. Thank you SUKIYA for employing such wonderful staffs and employees 👍👍👍😀 This is my first time in this SUKIYA restaurant 🤗. My usual Sukiya go to place was in Mont Kiara 163 shopping mall. This one is very near to my place. Didn’t know it existed until yesterday due to the ground floor and first floor is full of restaurants already 😲 Was greeted by Ms. Azmiera and wasn’t sure if I could bring in my shopping trolley from the supermarket but she graciously welcomed me with a smile and said no worries 👍👍🤗. When I ordered my usual Gyudon medium RM$ 9.90, and requested that the rice be separated from the beef and sauce, she readily complied. Indeed what wonderful services I received today as it was my birthday too (yesterday). The rice is just like in Japan when I was there but the other Sukiya branches (rice) texture is much different, too dry, probably when mixed with the beef sauce but I prefer it to be separated. So this is going to my go to SUKIYA from today onwards👍👍👍❤️🤗😋😋😋 Thanks to Ms. Azmiera who welcomed me so politely and graciously and Ms. Mila Hani and Ms. ADILAH who prepared my best Japanese rice and great beef and sauce. Best gyudon I’ve ever had from SUKIYA. Thank you Sukiya for employing such great and wonderful staffs/employees👍👍👍🤗. These three (3) ladies are future potential managers for Sukiya.

I was quite surprised to see the low rating for this place, had I seen the ratings first before I went there, I would have skipped but thankfully I didn’t see the ratings first before until now. Maybe there were only 2 other tables occupied when we went in, at after lunch hour, so the service was fast and the staff was courteous. Food came very quickly. We ordered the beef noodle, upsized for 2 small eaters (2 normal size bowls would be too much). I must say the broth is absolutely delicious and the noodle is al dente (not soggy). The beef slices was thinly sliced and tender that even my elderly aunt approved of it (the worst thing is when you get beef that you cannot chew and had to spit it out!). The takoyaki is crisp outside and fluffy inside, and I can taste the squid so it’s the real McCoy. The pan fried gyoza was flavourful on its own. Chawanmushi has loads of goodies deep inside…and the texture of steamed egg was so smooth. Obviously spoilt for choices but we can only eat so much…would definitely be back! May feel like Japanese fast food rather than a restaurant but most importantly it tastes good! Seats are limited though.

I haven't had a meal from Sukiya in years so this is the first time I've ordered something from this branch in ages. The Yakitori Ontama Don was delicious; tender chicken pieces and thick pieces of leek that are grilled till they are soft. The onsen egg was perfectly cooked with a gorgeous runny yolk and the bowl came with red pickled ginger which I absolutely loved. Along with that, I ordered a Hojicha Milk Tea with Pearls separately and the tea is perfect. The total rounds of to RM30 excluding delivery fees which is kinda pricey but I haven't enjoyed a meal quite like this for a while. A fantastic treat for yourself if you're needing a pick-me-up.

I seldom make complaint but this time I really wanna complain about this sukiya aeon maluri… first I ordered lunch set and waiting for nice yakiniku set because we tried in Japan and taste super nice… but after awhile a waiter come to us and told today is public holiday… can’t order lunch set… then why show on the qr order? Never mind… we proceed to order kids set and 2 sets with drinks… then wait started… after 15-20mins I see the only waiter like nothing to do then I walk to her and ask if my order is preparing? She just taken it off from printer! Then never mind… we wait… and after 15mins plus… funny things happen… our order she served to next table! And we keep waving our hand and she like see no one and just walk away! And we lost our patient and just told her we don’t want already and we left… for the management if you read this post… take the appropriate action on improving service sukiya...
