Good recommendation from friends and good reviews from public. So we tried their signature butter milk noodle, deep fried toufu, simple stair fried kai Lan and Har ko. Signature butter milk noodle was unique and different but too sweet. Personal opinion, maybe for younger generation they will enjoy it but for an old man like me, this is not food but sweet source. Signature Deep fried tofu was normal because it carries the same weight with other restaurants. Their stair fried kai Lan was normal because the vegetables is too 'old' nothing special. Lastly 'Har ko' also carries the same weight with other normal restoran. Final verdict, it actually very normal. Lately I'm getting more invitation to try and taste but instead of being happy to try and enjoy..., I'm feeling more disappointed after trying and don't know what to write. I've actually stop commenting for more than a month. But the disappointment still carries on. I think I need to venture out on my own without listening to other people say.

2nd time coming here, and this time I had great eating experience after knowing the restaurant's recommended dishes - fried tofu cost RM14 for small portion which surprised me at first. so expensive for just tofu... but seeing most people here ordered it, I tried and turned out it's not just plain tofu but a mix of mashed tofu and vegetables then fried. very tasty! - kung pao pork tomato tastes very strong. just like what a restaurant flavor should be: strong, bold and MSG-ish. the pork tastes very good and fried well. - fried sotong with flour crunchy! not the type of 'hard flour' like KFC and the sotong isn't too rubbery. sotong doesn't taste fishy. - buttermilk wonton noodle the one we had today wasn't as creamy as the one before, but still very good. pork also great, I think this restaurant does well with fried food the food itself was 5/5 however i think they need to improve on cleanliness. do sit outside if you can, much better than the inside

not the kind of place one would walk in. but if you're keen to try something less common, this place serves noodles in buttermilk sauce. 铁板奶油面. imagine your typical buttermilk squid or shrimp, it's the same taste. creamy and sweet gravy on your wanton noodles, with pieces of deep fried chicken. rather interesting combination but worth trying. deep fried chicken wings 南乳鸡翅has got this strong aroma from fermented bean curd. you can tell they've been very well marinated. lotus leaf fish 荷叶鱼 was served without lotus leaf. that's not an issue. the moment when the thick gravy flows down the piping hot plate, it's a winner! dont expect hygiene to be at its best.
