If you are looking for a place to enjoy a delicious and authentic Vietnamese-Thai cuisine, look no further than VietThai restaurant at TTDI. This cozy and friendly restaurant offers a variety of dishes that will satisfy your taste buds and make you feel like you are in Southeast Asia.
The food was up to the mark, with every dish having the luxurious tickling taste of originality. I tried the fried sweet and sour seabass, which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a tangy sauce that complemented the fish perfectly. The mixed stir-fry vegetables were fresh and crunchy, with a hint of garlic and soy sauce. The black pepper beef was tender and juicy, with a spicy and savory flavor that made me want more.
The garlic chicken sticks were succulent and aromatic, with a crispy coating and a sweet and sour dip. The Vietnamese spring rolls were light and refreshing, with a mix of vegetables, noodles, and herbs wrapped in rice paper and served with a peanut sauce. And of course, the coconut ice cream was the perfect way to end the wonderful meal. It was creamy and smooth, with a rich coconut flavor and a sprinkle of roasted peanuts.
The staff was quick to serve and the food itself was piping fresh hot. They were very courteous and attentive, making sure that I had everything I needed and that I was enjoying my meal.
I had a great time at VietThai restaurant and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves Vietnamese-Thai food or wants to try something new and exciting. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is superb. Don't miss this gem of a restaurant at TTDI, you...
Read moreMy first time here for dinner with my family . We had the clam in coconut broth. We requested not spicy and it came as expected. Clam was fresh broth is flavorful and refreshing. The lemon grass chicken was awesome . Very flavorful, and the smell was very aromatic and has a well balance flavor. The sizzling beef was magical. It reminds me of the food we used to have when we were in Vietnam . They sir fried everything with onion and spring onion leaves . But this beef is extra extra better than we used to have . The beef was tender like wagyu beef, melt in my mouth like no need to chew. The herbs and spices were balanced mixed r having the flavour of the stir fried beef. The beef was the Star of our dinner tonight . The chicken wings also very flavorful and very surprising as as it was stuffed with mushrooms, I believed there’s chicken in there too and also glass noodles. The prawn cake was also nice as it. Ivered with Vietnamese spring roll skins . Again reminding me of Vietnamese street food pancake. The staffs here are very friendly and...
Read moreFirst time trying out this restaurant, located in the lovely neighbourhood of TTDI. Firstly, the parking is just crazy. Almost a lottery win if you can find a parking. Love the ambience of this charming little restaurant. The deco is classy and authentic. The service is good too. We ordered the curry beef and fried fish with hot and sour sauce. The curry beef was tender and nice though I find it to be on the bland side. Nothing distinct stands out other than the beef is nicely cooked to the right tenderness and not unnecessary chewy parts. The fish tasted a bit better. The fish was fresh and nicely fried to a crispy and yet not dry level. Again the taste was just alright, on the bland side and rather mediocre. Normally Viet and Thai food are known for their big punchy flavour but somehow this place don't subscribe to that. I will still be back to try out the other dishes and see how it goes. Hopefully they are better and don't dissapoint. Very nice restaurant setting though.....nice to hang...
