Sweet ending to the week... A tad too sweet actually.
So after the dinner at Yik Kee, the young ones were crying for something sweet - kids being kid 😅 managed to find Sweet Escape nearby so we made our way there so that they could satisfy their sweet tooth while I could finally go home.
Apparently their mission is to make amazing ice cream that can be indulged by everyone. This can be achieved through usage of low sugar, organic unrefined sugar or zero sugar ice cream (sugar substitute such as erythritol).

Upon leaving, some kids wanted a balloon (kids being kids) - there were 6 balloons on display and before we could even pass it to the kids, the staff there immediately kept the rest of the balloons away (as pictured). Read moreI recently visited this local ice cream shop after breaking my fast, and I must say, it was worth the wait! Despite the long queue and difficulty finding a table inside, the staff managed to accommodate everyone nicely. However, the main annoyance was some customers who insisted on trying every sample before ordering just one scoop of ice cream, causing the queue to move slowly.
Nevertheless, the ice cream itself was fantastic! My favorite flavors are Rocher and London Almond; they were incredibly nutty and chocolatey, making each scoop a delightful treat. The quality of the ice cream truly reflects the craftsmanship of this local...
