Yakiniku Goro — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Came here on a recommendation on 29th and now I totally get why it’s someone’s favorite.

The beef is fresh, the premium tongue is great quality, and the yukhoe surprised me in the best way. I came alone but it wasn’t a problem at all because all staffs are helpful and they served the best service.

The menu has options you can adjust, which I really liked. Meat and beer here? So good. I think this place just became one of my favorite spots 😋

And nope, I don’t have a photo of that premium tongue to show you… because the moment it arrived, I couldn’t wait. Took one bite and totally forgot about taking pictures. 😂

We have been here many times. The meat quality on our recent visit was SO DDISAPPOINTING & BAD!!!!

Meat is gamey, has a strong beef smell, and not how it used to be.

Not sure if this is a one-off miss hit or standard indeed has dropped.

I took photos of our recent visit to compare it to our previous visits where meat still had good marbling. Compare it yourself.

Even though we tried to give the manager feedback, she didn't come to our table, despite her being just at the counter. Instead, she just told her staff to brush us off with the reason that the beef was different parts and cuts & that she couldn't speak...

Good quality fresh meats + cuts. Have been visiting this place since day 1 and I dare say this place is easily one of the best places to go for BBQ if you’re in KL and wouldn’t complain driving a little bit. Best thing about this place is that they take constructive opinions and improve on the meat selection + expand their food choices. Absolutely top class of an establishment 😍🥰

Owners are friendly Japanese which of course needless to say please expect top class customer service.
