A newish restaurant, they specialise in roast meats - char siew, siew yoke, roast goose, suckling pig and roast chicken and also river fishes which they say are at wholesale prices.
The Char Siew is Highly Recommended, and I would say it’s a close second to the famous Char Siew Yoong in Pudu Ulu. The Siew Yoke is pretty good too, with a crispy skin. But perhaps a tad more seasoning and aromatic spices would help. Salt Chicken is good but what elevates it to the next level is the Ginger Sauce. This may be the best ginger sauce for any chicken rice in KL. Don’t miss it when you’re eating here.
A portion of fried rice came in a huge quantity enough for 3! Taste was good and the prawns added were large and fresh. This gets a Recommendation too. Even the serving of plain noodles was good, served with some pork broth on the side to add to the noodles if you wish.
Service is attentive. Since it’s a new restaurant, they don’t charge Service Tax at the moment and prices are quite reasonable. We were told that they are wholesalers for river fish and prices are cheaper than other restaurants. Will definitely return to try more of their menu items.
Return visit: Confirmed Char Siew is superb - Highly Recommended. Siew Yoke - Good. Stir Fried Vegetable - Good. Vegetable Curry - Average. Braised Fried Taufoo with Minced Meat sauce - Good.
Roast Goose - RM110 for half goose. Crispy skin, succulent and juicy flesh. Well worth the splurge and one of the best in KL. Highly Recommended.
Roast Suckling Pig - crispy skin and juicy meat. Highly recommended. RM298 for a whole pig.
Steamed Patin Buah - lovely firm flesh with a springy skin. No complaints about freshness and it was cooked perfectly. The light soy sauce gravy was perfect - not too salty and brought out the sweetness of the fish. Soon Hock is a good option too, fresh and sweet taste. Both fishes are somewhat expensive but Highly Recommended.
Salted Egg Fried Squid - crispy and crunchy. Fried just right and salted egg sauce coats each piece nicely. Highly Recommended.

Read more20-7-2025. Was there at early dinner time ~6.30pm. The place was almost full, but it was not cramp. This popular roast meat "specialist" did not disappoint. The roast goose was juicy and tender with crispy skin. At the promotion price of rm198/- it was value for money. It paired well with the Ningxia Pinot noir that we brought along. 💪🏽. The roast pork was one-of-a-kind. 👍🏼. Crispy skin, tender and the fat melts in your mouth. No where have I tasted such tender "siew yoke". 👍🏻👍🏼. The char siew was 👍🏽, but too sweet for me. Others woud love it. The other meat ordered was the herbal soy sauce chicken, which was good with distinct herb aromas. The soup - vege, meat & dried squid silvers was tasty. Service was attentive with a friendly supervisor. Good ambience too. The price of the roast pork was cheaper than most places looking at the rather generous portion served. There are other dishes on the menu - fish, seafood etc, which will taste on the next visit. Parking is available at the back of the shop, but could be challenging on a working day. Howerver, the LRT station is only a 7 min. walk from the back...
Read moreHad a family dinner at the restaurant on 3rd day of CNY (31st Jan 2025). Foods served very quickly, roast goose and tofu were good. Sweet and sour pork and suckling pig taste weird. Pork tastes very heavy we didn’t bother much at that time thinking it could be the taste of the fats.
We have 7 of us and end up 5 were down with serious food poisoning (vomiting and diarrhea). Two of them who did not eat the dish were totally fine!
Called the restaurant to complain about it few days after we recovered and the staff replied by saying they have no issue with the dish and still serving it till now. Well done!! What an irresponsible reply. Atleast to find out further what’s the issue about but never.
They still end up compensating us our medical fees but not the meal that caused us food...
