A must visit on all our trips to Langkawi, so I’ve tried most of their menu. I find it hard to choose what to order as there are too many delicious options. But let me break it down and guide you.
For breakfast or brunch, I love their roti bakar (cos their kaya is superior), roti celup telur, nasi goreng kampung and pek nga. A friend loved Tokopi’s laksa kedah so much she had it for brunch and dinner, in the same day! I’m not much into big breakfast fry ups and eggs but people seem to enjoy them.
If I did not have nasi goreng (NG) for breakfast, I would have a harder time choosing which NG to have for lunch or dinner. In general, I am not a fan of NG but Tokopi does all 3 of their NGs really well.
Love their Asian noodles, gyoza, chicken chop. Again, these are items I would not order anywhere else but Tokopi does it so good.
Other favs are beef smash burger, chili minced meat pizza, carbonara and pink pasta.
Have only tried the lamb shoulder from their grills menu and it was really tasty stuff. I see lamb shank a fav of many.
They also have an in-house bakery so there are lots of yummy pastries and cakes to choose from. It’s so easy to get super stuffed here. WOW wrote so much on their food. Didn’t even get to the drinks.
Basically, best coffee in Langkawi. They use Solong Kopi Aceh Gayo beans. Bought a few bags for family and friends and they love it.
Also don’t miss their hot honey lemon. We couldn’t stop ordering it each time we were there. Their teas, frappes and juices are also really good.
If you’re lucky enough to be there when they have stock of bottled Langkawi Water, buy them all! Oh and not to forget their coconut jelly. Love love love!

Read moreNasi Lemak - served with white rice instead of coconut rice(coconut rice stated in menu) Asian Noodles - from instagram highlights of the restaurant, posted it to be with gravy, but came dry (waiter said have to make request) Salted Egg Salmon Pasta - came with an insect crawling on the salmon, (waiter said the insect probably just landed on it and disregarded it) Served with dirty cups for the iced water, small black spots in the water which rested at the bottom of the cup. Ordered Lambshank but almost 2hrs later still yet to arrive. We cancelled the order (kitchen claim to be making each other one by one) Roti Kukus(steamed bread) also came 1hr 30mins and by then most of us didn't have the appetite to eat anymore.
Please note we would understand the long wait for food if the restaurant was FULL, but it was barely 1/5 filled. I think total customers is less than 15.
Service really have to improve, I think the young waiter does not know what to say or what not to say when dealing with customers. Her replies was disappointing, we all tried to talk to her to get the manager out to talk to us. Eventhough the kitchen was open, the manager did not come out and address our concerns.
Overall atmosphere is warm, eventhough there's A/C, maybe also due to their open kitchen concept.
100/10 I would not recommend. For people who read this review, please...

If you're searching for a place to enjoy a memorable meal in Pantai Tengah, look no further than Tokopi Restaurant. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the chic, modern Kedai Kopi vibes and the welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant prides itself on using high-quality ingredients, and it truly shows in every dish.
The menu is a delightful mix of local and international cuisine, offering something for everyone. I highly recommend trying their signature Mee Rebus and the mouth-watering nasi lemak. Their coffee, brewed from premium Aceh Gayo beans, is simply unparalleled – a true treat for any coffee lover.
The service at Tokopi is top-notch, with chef (Zarif) and staff members especially Farid who are both attentive and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was perfect.
Another highlight is the outdoor seating, which provides a lovely setting to enjoy your meal while taking in the scenic views. Whether you're looking for a place to unwind with friends or enjoy a romantic dinner, Tokopi Restaurant is the place to be. I can't...
