Clockwise: salted egg sotong (1/5) - sotong is soft and chewy, seriously good but the sauce is a totally waste of the ingredients. Choi dam (shop claim it to be baby kai lan (imho, this is not kai lan, not even baby) - -2/5, veg cooked with starch which is not my preference Lemon chicken - 1/5, I like my chick's fat and juicy, this chicken is too dried and overly healthy for me. I think it swim across the sea to get here. Hotplate toufu - -1/5, this is the most pathetic hotplate toufu I've ever had with a single egg on the hotplate , I have a reason to believe that they ran out of eggs in order to prepare this dish. Kung pow mantis prawn - 1/5, they fried it so crispy that it taste good with beer, but they ain't offering free beer, so I wonder why they prepared it in that manner. Steam seabass - -1/5, waiter told me tha they dont have fresh (I.e. live swimming seabass) which I'm fine. Fish is totally fine, but the food preparation totally wasted a good fish. They should totally fire the chef in preparing the fish.
Waiter has a good intent to offer what she have to offer, but her supporting helpers are just doing the opposite. Kinda felt like she is in the wrong company.
Average atmosphere, we would totally stayed longer, but supporting staffs seems needed to get off work early.
If you intent to stay longer or have nothing to do, go...
Read moreI'm loathe to write these kinds of reviews but this place is a nightmare. Steer well clear of this place. I write this lying on my couch with food poisoning from this place and a bitter taste in my mouth from the experience. If you are a foreigner, rest assured that they will rip you off and feed you off-seafood. While none of the seafood tasted fresh, the worst was the waiter-recommended Mantis prawns, which were obviously going off. I went to speak with the manager kindly and he laughed at me. We then received the bill and instead of the RM50 we were quoted for them, they charged us RM160 for the dish alone! I again went to speak to the most senior staff member who laughed and said it was just a mistake. When I explained if it was a mistake, it seemed unfair I had to pay for it, he again laughed and shrugged his shoulders. I'm a frequent traveller to Langkawi (monthly) and have never experienced anything so terrible on the island. The worst meal and a RM460 price tag for two adults and a child... If you are the owners please contact me. Your staff refused to help me rectify this situation and have forced me to...
Read moreWorst boss and worst service. I've never been to a chinese restaurant which has a very bad service like this Fish scale wasn't removed. It was a steam fish. When tasted the gravy was nice. When eating the fish felt so disappointed that they never cleaned the fish. We cannot even eat it. When complained indon staff replied " banyak orang la" WHAT THE HELL. We are paying and you giving this kind of food ? Sizzling tauhu gravy was so watery. Aren't thick at all. Vegetable we ordered was too late , we finished eating with the fish gravy and tauhu. Almost wanted to cancel the vege. Then it came at last. Staff replied " vegetable late because need to eat at the end " . Is vegetable consider dessert to eat lastly ?????? How stupid this can be ? When bill came we said we didn't even eat the fish. Staff went to the boss. And back she said " couldn't less the price because the fish is still new and it's not an old fish "
Can anyone have worst experience than this ? Will never ever recommend to anyone. Maybe they will just serve well for big groups.why not you put a board outside that small teams...
