Winter Desert Corner is an absolute gem in Langkawi! Their Mango Monster Roll is hands-down my favorite – the authentic mango flavor is simply unbeatable, and every bite feels like pure bliss. I first tried it back in 2022, and since then, it’s been my go-to recommendation for anyone visiting Langkawi. The best part? Everyone I’ve insisted on trying it has loved it just as much! Another favorite of mine is their Coconut Ice Cream – so refreshing and rich with a natural coconut taste. Winter Desert Corner truly knows how to deliver authenticity and quality in every scoop. I can’t recommend them enough – it’s an ice cream lover’s paradise!

My boys LOVED this place. They got the rolled ice cream which came in v cute pots with little faces. I can only assume it was tasty as it was gone very quickly! They took a little while to make. They also went and got the rainbow ice ball which I had a bit of and it was tasty. Quite wanted one for myself! We also got a fresh coconut but this was a little disappointing. They were warm and the hole in the top wasn’t large enough to get a spoon in to scoop out the flesh. Prices were also reasonable.

I would recommed trying Cendol, a local iced desert that has coconut milk, palm sugar syrup, green rice flower jelly, and boba redbeans. We tried the ice cream on a waffle cone and it was very delightful too. The waffle cone was baked fresh to order.

I don’t know how this place has so many positive reviews because we had the worst experience in the whole of Malaysia here. The staff was so rude and rolling their eyes at customers asking simple questions and answering them rudely. We orders 2 bubble waffles and a rolled ice cream tub. The waffle tasted like fish so my daughter didn’t eat it. We asked the staff why there was no marshmallows on the rolled ice cream as shown on the pictures and they responded that the marshmallows had finished so I told them that they should have told us as my child ordered it for the marshmallows but they just said it’s finished over and over. Then the bubble waffles didn’t have the chocolate sticks as advertised on the pictures but again they said it’s finished which later changed to they don’t do the marshmallows and sticks anymore.. those are old pictures so one of them was lying.
