The best bar on the island bar none for service, location, drinks and value for money. It’s one of the very few bars situated in the Cenang beach area and has a vast cocktail menu with something for everyone. It is frequented by a mixture of locals and tourists and has a friendly laid back atmosphere with good music playlists. Although no food is served from the bar, there is a kebab menu from the adjacent shop from which food can be ordered and the staff are ok with you bringing in snacks and small food of your own to have with your drinks. The bar has been operated by the same owner and manager team for over a decade and with many of the same faces coming back year after year gives the bar a ‘local’ home from home feel.

I was supposed to meet my friend in this bar. I arrived first, ordered a beer while waiting, and finished it in 30 minutes. Shortly after, the waiter asked if I wanted another, but I requested a few minutes as I was waiting for my friend and didn't want to get drunk before even meeting my friend. The waiters became pushy, and about 10 minutes later, the owner arrived and started giving out to me in a really rude matter.

Very old music on repeat listening to the same e tunes … beach boys etc. on repeat. Asked if I could let them listen to my playlist - great 70’s disco music. NO. Kept playing the same repeats every 20 minutes.

Fantastic staff. No food, decent drinks at a decent price, but manage your expectations. I didn’t want to be a disco king, I just didn’t want to be driven out by the short spin of the same repetitive music.
