The stalls open early and closes by 2pm-3pm. I have not tried all the stalls but here’s what I’ve tried.

  1. WONTON NOODLES : Not bad. 3.5/5. I had the dry version and the sauce was flavourful. I will order that again but will order extra wontons and char siew next time. At RM8, it is very reasonable.

  2. CHICKEN RICE: I ordered boneless roasted chicken drum stick and roasted crispy pork. RM14. It was good. 4/5.

  3. BAN MIAN: RM9. It was full of noodles, hardly had any meat in them. Bits of anchovies and vegetables. 1/5. Total Rip-Off in my opinion.

  4. FRIED HOKKIEN PRAWN NOODLES: RM8. Flavourful. 3.5/5. I will try their Char Kway Teow next time.

  5. PRAWN NOODLES: It was sold out when I got there at around 12pm. So I think it must good!😂 I will try it next time.

And if you’re wondering about cleanliness of the stalls, I went around and look at their stalls and preparation, it looks clean. And I’ve eaten the...

I took the exact same thing twice on different days from the economic rice stall. On the first day, an old lady worker was charging me for RM7 and on the second day, an uncle worker was charging me for RM6.50 for the exact same thing. This, I totally can understand, since the way of economic rice's pricing is based on the type of food you take and the quantity you take.

The weirdest part was, I have been ordering the same drink for almost 2 weeks - one cup of hot Milo without additional of anything (Milo Kosong Panas). The pricing of it kept changing, the first week they were charging me it for RM1.80, and the second week the price for it was RM1.60, by the way, again, it was two different workers who served me (from the drink stall).

I guess the way of this place pricing their food and drink are based on who serve you, whether they like you or not and maybe...

Made our way to this restaurant after dining in it during our last trip to langkawi (early february 2023). This time we took family when we had dinner there in April 2023. Food was delicious as before. We tried some new dishes too Sizzling tofu with minced pork - a family favourite (yummy) Chicken fried rice - tasty Roasted pork with Chinese leak - a personal favourite. Ordered it last visit and a definite must have. Truly good Assam prawns - fresh prawns and very tasty Vegetable cucur - hostess recommended as a starter as we were all hungry. It came quickly and was good. Goes well with the chili dip Sambal 4 heavenly beans - a little oily but tasty nonetheless

Will definitely be back when...
