What an unforgettable night at 1 Altitude's Rooftop Bar!

I first learned about the 1 Altitude Rooftop Bar in Melaka while reading an in-flight magazine on Malaysia Airlines. The article caught my eye, so I decided to visit the rooftop bar on the day I was celebrating my ten-year anniversary with my wife during our trip to Melaka.

The experience was fantastic from start to finish. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, with the Mala spaghetti standing out as a spicy treat for those who love heat. The drinks were equally enjoyable, with a wide variety to choose from, and all reasonably priced, providing great value for money.

The staff was what made the evening truly exceptional. Every single person was friendly, warm, and professional. Khalid, in particular, left a lasting impression with his attentive and accommodating service.

I had the pleasure of dining at Rooftop Bar in Melaka, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Ali. From the moment I walked in, Ali made me feel incredibly welcome with his warm smile and friendly attitude.

I ordered a Margherita pizza, and while the food was absolutely delicious, what truly made my evening special was the exceptional hospitality. Ali was attentive, professional, and always made sure I had everything I needed. He took the time to check in on me, ensuring my meal was perfect and that I was comfortable. His positive energy and dedication to great service made a real difference.

Buffalo chicken wings was paired with cream cheese that’s palatable, service was not great, there were many tables that were not cleaned immediately even though the patrons left the premises some 15 minutes. Halfway through my visit to the indoor section there was this damp, mouldy smell scent similar to drainage that came out of nowhere, which greatly affected my overall experience. I had to cut short our visit as me and my guests couldn’t stand the unpleasant smell. As it was raining earlier, we switched to the balcony seating when the rain stopped but the staffs did not take any initiative to assist on turning over the outdoor cushion pillows so that guests doesn’t have to sit on the wet side (due to rain earlier). Manager was not transparent as to the ongoing promotion, member was not informed that the wine promotion is not applicable in conjunction with membership discounts. We had high hopes for a place that offers amazing ambience - good view of the Melaka town, not to mention about the steep pricing. Would not recommend unless if going only...
