KIMCHEE KOREAN DINING — Restaurant in Malacca

The soy garlic Korean fried chicken meets the average standard since I've tasted better ones in Melaka. Probably this is the only item I will order if I come again.

We're given 4 small plates of side dishes comprising of sprouts, vege, fish cake and kimchi. Then comes the beer + soju "jug" or rather should I say, mug size if you see my photo.

Surprising part is the rice ball, you'll get a hands on chance to make your own balls! It was a unique and fun experience, the children beside us like this activity very much.

We didn't order any grill set as our main target is the kfc anyhow. However we still can smell the fragrant smoke and heat from other tables, prepare for double hair wash after.

Came for lunch on a weekday and they have lunch sets which comes with jiggae and bbq pork, asked whether I can change the jiggae w extra payment to prevent wasting as it was only 2 of us but they were not accommodating at all. In the end we ordered the set + additional jiggae of our choice but ended up unable to finish the food. The bbq is self service and horrible, fire was too big and meat became burnt very fast. A three week old, casual Korean BBQ situated at the newer commercial zones away from the city centre. Parking was relative easy. We came here for a BBQ evening with relatives in Melaka. We ordered a dinner set and some chicken wings. The place is cooling and lively with music. The set comes with uncut portions of meat.
