This is the worst place to eat. Service was inattentive and poor. I could not get their attention to order food despite going at a non-peak period.
When the tea came, we realised they had served us the wrong tea (the tea label stated “premium green tea” when we ordered camomile). Then the food took a long time to be served and when served, all the dishes were not hot and quality of food was especially poor. Notably, the Kerabun bee Hoon was dry and clumped together. The quality of other dishes we ordered (ngoh hiang, assam fish laksa, otah, etc) was also subpar. In fact, before our food came, the uncle sitting at the table beside us had the waitress reheat his fish because it was “not hot”.
When it came time to pay, I was standing right at the counter, first in queue waiting for the cashier to return. However when he returned, he immediately took and processed the bill for the second person in line instead of mine. Really inattentive as a service crew.
Not able to get attention and being served the wrong tea could be passed off as honest mistakes, but to have food served at room temperature and in poor quality is unacceptable for a reputable restaurant like this. I don’t wish for anyone to waste their time and...
Read moreThis is the worst experience I have here. The staff do not understand what we order what we say and give 0 and the worst customer service. Ordered homemade honey lemon chrysanthemum drinks but taste like dish detergent and no chrysanthemum taste at all. Ask for the manager, is a Chinese woman and answer us rudely the drinks is not from this restaurant. And she ask for the next door manager over who is the seller of the drinks. To my surprise, he answered the drinks was not homemade and it is from bottle. When we ask for 1 glass of ice the staff bring Sprite over and do not understand what we mean. Well we speak English, Malay and the manager from both store are the worst in service attitude. The food here are not good if you looking for authentic baba nyonya food, this is not where you should come. There is much more choices than to spoilt...
Read moreThis is not my 1st visit, I came back because the set meal i ordered and had last time was good and I come back to get their ala carte food this time. This 2nd visit was a hell, i suspect it's a totally different person who prepared the food.
The sambal petai fried rice was awful. The rice is soft, think its just cooked and made it feels like half rice half porridge. The petai definitely not fresh, taste a bit weird and sour. Its been a long time since I get to try this kind of fried rice which is totally a failure.
The char kuey teow doesn't have taste at all, it looks normal but It doesn't have a taste at all. I wondering what happened on this 2nd visit, the dinner was a disaster and I'm totally disappointed. I will never come back again to this place. Be careful & good luck...
