It was unfortunately an unpleasant experience for me at the Genting outlet. Being a vegetarian, I ordered to make their Hakka fried rice to vege and mentioned to them they may include long beans, tauhu and more vegetables. And what came to my table was so much of rice with small pieces of long beans. My friend ordered the Hakka fried rice and what came was prawns that were chopped into small pieces for goodness sake and there were hardly even two prawns, that's how little it was. To complain this I called the manager politely but then he responded with a rude head gesture and yet i politely told him about what happened, he replied rudely by saying "I take your food ask the chef" I said "do not take my food inside but if you insist, ask the chef to come out because I do not know what you will do to our food" and he raised his voice by saying he will take it to the chef. I could not be patient anymore for such impudent behaviour! He said sorry for his tone but in reality he was not and it was also agreed by the workers in the shop! I walked out without finishing my food and yes I DID NOT PAY FOR IT!! Please hire a well mannered managers for your outlets not just...

Convenient location, great service but food is average at best.

Tldr; don't expect to be full from one serve of food alone. Pricey food for the serving sizes.

I ordered the nasi lemak istimewa (special) and the only thing special about it is how small the serving size is. I appreciate that pictures in menus are for illustrative purposes only but there is a clear disparity between what's shown on the menu and what's actually served.

The menu states that beef rendang was included in the dish that I ordered. However, it was replaced by a tiny piece of curry chicken and was not even told that the beef rendang would be replaced beforehand. The taste of everything in the dish was fine, but again left disappointed with the portion size given the price for the dish.

My companion had the char koey teow which was even smaller. This was accentuated by the empty space on the place the dish was served on (regret not taking a photo of it). The dish took up a third of the entire...

Saw this place has 4.5 stars so we decided to give it a try on our last day in Genting. Big mistake.

I ordered the Beef Kuey Teow (it was marked as recommended on the menu), but honestly it was a nightmare. The kuey teow had a really strong and unpleasant smell, like it wasn’t washed properly. The beef was super chewy and hard to swallow.

My friend got the Hainan Chicken Rice and Seafood Curry Hot Pot. The chicken rice was terrible which the rice had a weird taste and the chicken was dry and hard, totally not enjoyable.

As for the seafood curry hot pot (which cost over RM50), we had high hopes, but it was another disappointment. The curry was watery and tasteless, and the shrimp wasn’t fresh at all. To make things worse, the hot pot has some weird design where the handle gets stuck on top, blocking your hand from getting the food properly.

Pointing gun on my head and i still not coming back here again. No idea how this place got such high ratings....

Very rude and annoying manager (Chinese dude). Ordered the Nasi Lemak curry, the dish came with literally 3pcs of ikan bilis, we nicely asked if they can add a little more and the jerk rudely blurted "You want more, will have additional charge!" I exclaimed, "you literally gave 3 broken pieces, we just want like half a spoon of anchovies for a 25RM dish", he rudely walked back to the counter and dropped a couple of pieces more on a sauce dish. The dishes are OK, not any different from hawkers but cost 2x more, but understandable since it's a restaurant in a resort. The beef hofan is decent, the curry chicken and black pepper are not worth half the price of it. The rest of the staff are friendly, but the said manager belongs in a wet market than a restaurant.
