Have been twice to yr outlet in Genting within 3 weeks. Food was bearable however can be improved, the fries is soggy. The service is superb horrible, the staff name was Azman, Kanaka and Data. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and ambience but definitely not the service. For eg. We convey message to Azman, he didn't feedback to kitchen, while Daya when she served us, when we tell her what we told Azman, her face color change and mumbling. While for Kanaka when asked her to clear plates on table she impatiently feedback yes we will. All of them doesn't show any welcoming face even before we ask them of any service. We are paying for the so called world famous fish with nice ambience and we expect the quality of service should be at least reasonable, minimum a smile. We come to enjoy our meal and not to see your unhappy working face. *Why we asked them to clear table, we came 4 person, we ordered 4 dishes 2 large cod fish and chip, 2 beef burger, and 2 pots of tea, the space is limited hence once finished, had asked yr staff to clear it, Azman pretend didn't see, Kanaka was not happy and replied rudely just for a simple request. Had been observing your staff attitude, I believe they need to have training that they need to have more courtesy and friendly towards the guest in the F&B cum service industry. Sometimes they are too complacent in their job position. This staff attitude are minor items to improved. Hope it's doesn't affect your F&B business but definitely it will as they will not be repeating...
Read moreI rarely write glowing reviews, but my recent visit to Harry Ramsden’s was so exceptional, I felt compelled to share. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with that classic British charm that makes you feel instantly at home. But the real magic began when our server, Kanaka, greeted us with a smile that could brighten the dreariest day. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making our experience memorable, Kanaka set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal.
Now, let’s talk about the haddock. I’ve had fish and chips in countless places across the UK, but this was on another level. The haddock was perfectly cooked—flaky, moist, and encased in a golden batter that was crisp without being greasy. Each bite was a revelation. The chips were thick-cut, fluffy on the inside, and had that satisfying crunch on the outside. Paired with a generous helping of mushy peas and a splash of tangy tartar sauce, it was a plate of pure comfort and culinary excellence.
What truly elevated the experience was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality. Kanaka checked in just the right amount, making sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive. It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and heartfelt.
Harry Ramsden’s didn’t just serve us a meal—they gave us a moment. If you’re craving authentic fish and chips with a side of outstanding service, this is the place to be. I’ll be back, and I’ll be...

I’ve eaten my fair share of fish and chips over the years, but nothing quite prepared me for the sheer delight of my recent visit to Harry Ramsden’s. I ordered the haddock, and I can honestly say—it was phenomenal. The fish was fresh and beautifully cooked, with a light, golden batter that was crisp and flavorful without overpowering the delicate taste of the haddock itself. It flaked apart effortlessly, and every bite was a perfect balance of texture and taste. The chips were equally impressive—thick, hearty, and cooked to perfection. Not soggy, not overdone—just right. Add in the classic sides and it was a plate that felt both nostalgic and elevated.
But what truly made the experience shine was the service. Our server, Kanaka, was an absolute gem. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive, she made us feel like valued guests from the moment we sat down. She had that rare ability to anticipate what we needed before we even asked, and her genuine enthusiasm for the food and the restaurant was infectious. It’s not often you come across someone who clearly loves what they do, and it made all the difference.
Harry Ramsden’s delivered not just a meal, but a memory. Between the outstanding haddock and the impeccable service from Kanaka, it was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality, comfort, and a...
