We ordered three bowls of the signature tonkotsu ramen. We ordered at the same time. The first bowl was served, but the next two bowls were served after about 10 minutes. During this time, the customers who came later than us were served. The order was chaotic. After the three bowls of ramen arrived, we found that one of them was obviously sticky and not cooked enough. It was obviously different from the other two bowls in terms of chewiness and taste. We reported it to the service staff in English, but they didn't seem to understand. Later, a group of staff in the store came out and stood at the door and whispered and pointed at us instead of asking us. It was not until we waved that one of the Chinese managers in a suit came over. After learning about our problem, he said something so fast that it was hard to hear. We could only clearly hear him say that he would give us another bowl. We also happily accepted it. As a result, after he brought the noodles in, he came back a few minutes later and said a lot of words to us in the same fast language with the same bowl of noodles that we couldn't keep up with or understand. We thought he said that this bowl had been eaten. In order to avoid us from thinking that the noodles he cooked again were the same as the bowl that had been eaten, he put it on our table to prove that the noodles he brought out were new. As a result, we later found out that we were overthinking. Less than a few minutes later, the supervisor in a suit immediately changed shifts and left. We then sat for 30 minutes, but still didn't get new noodles for us. Very bad and terrible service and food standards. The position expressed was inconsistent, the food standards were not good, the service staff had a bad attitude, and the serving speed was very slow. Even if they didn't want to replace it for us, they shouldn't have brought the noodles in and then taken them out. Instead, they could have used new chopsticks in front of us to try to see if the noodles were undercooked as we said. The practice of bringing them in and then bringing them out for us to continue eating really made it hard to imagine what the noodles went through in the process and what conditions and standards this restaurant uses to recruit staff. I will never patronize again. It is a very bad and disappointing restaurant. By the way, the taste and portion of the other two bowls of noodles were even worse than Maggie's 🙃🙃🙃

How to order? self service kiosk where you need to scan the mean voucher bar code. take the stand with the number, which are placed besides the kiosk. Then they will serve the ramen to you.
My soup was okay taste but the amount given was paltry. Drink like 3 full spoons only. Pork slices were super thin and small. Even noodles also like a few bites and gone. Look at my pics. Appears like rationing.
The Indian waitress, we kindof recognised as we saw her like 5 years back when we first patronised this shop. Possibly like more efficient and professional rather than those welcoming friendly types. There was another waitress and one Indian manager in suit as well. Didn't...
Read moreI visited Taiko Ramen at Level 1, SkyAvenue during a recent trip up to Genting Highlands. The ordering is done via a kiosk‑self‑service machine which felt pretty efficient and gave a modern Japanese ramen bar vibe. The ramen were cooked just right — firm with a nice bite — and I enjoyed the pork‑based broth (rich, but not overwhelmingly heavy). The pork slices were flavourful and the overall presentation was clean.
On the plus side, the décor is pleasant, the location is convenient, and for a tourist spot the pricing was reasonable.
On the flip side: the portion size felt a bit modest for the price — I found myself wanting a little more soup and noodles 🤤
