It's great and definitely worth a try! The food is great and fresh! I'd recommend their apple salad! (The tempura bits in their apple salad really makes the difference!) Their udon soup is also really nice. When I bit into the chicken pieces in the udon, I was like woa this tastes like chicken. If you try it, you'll get what I mean like it's fresh fresh. Their tempura batter is also great!
If you're having trouble with scanning the QR code for the menu, just go to their Facebook to check out the menu cause that's what the QR code will lead you to anyway. (You should check out their menu on Facebook before going to also check out the prices. I'd say that it's pretty pricey but also kinda normal for Japanese food in general. But just a heads up for those with a budget.)
It's a relatively small and cozy place with less than 10 tables, so if you're planning to go there, I'd suggest calling to reserve a table in advance for dinner times. For lunch time, so far my experience is that it's pretty quiet, so walk-ins should be fine. They're also quite fast in serving food. Also, there's free water at the counter where all the cups and glass jug are (I didn't know until the second time I went).
Also, an extra thing that doesn't really contribute anything to this review is that they serve their tea in these glass jugs which I really love! They're like medium height and fat (I forgot to take a picture, so bear with me haha) which I just really love. The size is just perfect to me XD And the tea stays warm for a long time which is just crazy to me or maybe I just haven't had much experience with glass jugs. If you get their tea, you'll get what I mean. Idk I just really loved their tea jugs XD If the owner sees this, drop the link for the glass...
Read moreInteresting place. The interior looked a little like a minimalist Japanese cafe. I can see the menu and items served were on pricier side @ small portion with regular price for some items. However I think just the locals going to this place might not be use to this price / portion setup.
Taste for the items is okay. Maybe 7/10. My bite size sushi was really bite size. The mojito was amazing! However the green tea was very very weak. It tasted just like ice water.
However I have to note that they were playing English pop songs which I felt was not suitable for the setting. The place was rather brightly lit as well. Maybe not as dimly lilted as other restaurants at this price range. Just my opinion la.
However our group stayed till late and they were VERY NICE to not as us leave. Kudos to them for...
Read moreTheir lunch set is very affordable, large portion that comes with tea, soup and chawanmushi. Each set is around RM15.
However, I think that the meal is abit dry. Could have been the best if there were more sauce. When I was there, most of the things on the menu were sold out. The waitress didn’t inform us in advance on the items which are unavailable. After placing the orders, the waitress told us that the items that we ordered are unavailable. We placed another order and she said it’s unavailable again. So, I straight away asked “Which one is available?”. The staffs could have been trained to be more professional. Otherwise, everything was great.
I would come and visit this place again someday to out their other items on the menu. Their...
