Look. Cafes are a dime a dozen nowadays, but what sets the elite apart is the food on offer. Deep in Greentown Business Centre is a quaint, partially hidden cafe that I always revisit for one thing, and one thing only. And once you've tried it, you'll become a convert because there's no other like it.
I'm talking about the ebi katsu bao. A simple yet deceptive flavour bomb that features a meaty, deep-fried prawn patty served inside a mantou with tartar sauce, a slice of lettuce and a squeeze of lemon. Simple but absolutely delicious because of the generous amount of prawns in the patty. I cannot get enough of it, and crave it often.
The menu is also quite thorough with brunches, pastas, croffles and salads, covering light bites and full meals. There's also burnt cheesecakes at the counter, as well as a wonderful coffee selection that shares the headline with their best food here.
The only downer I can think of is the relatively high prices. The big breakfast is RM38, while the rest are in the RM20s range. For a full meal and a nice coffee be prepared to part with about RM50. But overall though, a nice place to drop by for a cuppa and the...
Read moreThought of not trusting the bad reviews about bad service but it's true, they will ruin your lovely day with your loved ones.
All the staffs have no sense, impolite and zero hospitality.
Arrive early and sit on a table that accommodates 5 and was later requested to move to a very small table for 2 and force 3 of us to sit where one will look at the wall and the table is so small, can't really open 3 menus on the table. The atmosphere felt like eating in a panic room of 3 ft x 3 ft with no view and all elbows fighting. We came for a heavy brunch but you transfer us to a small table for coffee chit chat.
Will not spend a single sen in your pricey cafe that does not care for customers but merely focus on selling your food.
You had another big table just finish eating about to leave, where the other customer could sit and wait for that table since his family and friends have not arrive yet.

Read moreThe Latte and the cake we’ve ordered was quite good. The place seems not bad, neat and simple design.
The two things we ordered took more than 20 minutes to serve, but the staff apologize to us, actually we don’t mind it though, but the thing which is annoying us the most is the noisiness from the kids. The kids from the other table keep making noises since the time we were seated, non stop at all like a radio but noises were sharp and unpleasant. My mom and I can’t take it until the coffee and cake served, we didn’t even take more than 10 minutes to finish it so that we could leave this noisy place in no time.
To be honest, I’m here in this kind of cafe to enjoy the great time with my mom, sip the coffee and take a bite of cakes, then hanging out abit and chilled. This is my very first experience of going to a cafe like a kindergarten, the first impression here was ruined by the loud...
