(He has another outlet run by his son at the Kota Damansara Uptown food court) Only go here on quieter weekdays and especially if it raining a bit. But he closes sometimes during heavy rainy days, in which case there is Texas chicken and a lot of other options in the area. Not a great burger, but certainly one you should try if you enjoy this kind of food once in a while. Would give him another half-star for being more consistent as of late, and usually opening and following the times listed here, especially the really late closing hours đđ˝
Get the better quality Sempoi pattie (and tell him not to cook it too fast, if you know him well) despite its prices. Yes, everything here is more expensive compared to your usual road side burger joints, but he does do it a little different and put a lot of ingredients in, so I don't mind having it "once in a while", and you shouldn't be eating burgers and processed meat often anyway if you want to take care of your health. I don't usually add on cheese and especially cheese, as I don't like the taste of the meat disturbed, and they charge a lot for those add-ons. Would rather make it a double, if I am really hungry.
The Chinese type chilli sauce they use is quite hot, and I would tell them to put less or none of it at all. Sauces are available there for you to add, but add a lot of chilli and you could be suffering later and tomorrow morning. Bring your own drinks and ice cream from the 24 hour nearby FamilyMart or Hungry People (closes 3am) for a better experience, or Texas has dessert as well. Be prepared to stand until you get a table, even on the quieter rainy days, as he won't put out many. This area and section is generally safe to be in late at night, and cop patrol cars will pass by often. Dont leave anything in your car...
Read moreItâs 2024 and the world is Developing into the digital era, even hawker restaurant or mamak warong have QR pay why canât you just put a QR in your shop or TNG or something. So since I was new in this area I saw a burger shop & was feeling hungry so I thought they might have QR pay or smtg but this brader did not even state or put a papan tanda clear enough to show âCash Onlyâ so I ordered a burger master Otai. Once my burger was ready after waiting for 30mins I approach to pay via QR or bank transfer since I donât usually carry much cash on me âI had only RM12 in cashâ but then this young brader told me rudely no QR! No QR, cash sahaja! Then I said I have no option I only have 12 bucks with me what can I do? Maybe can transfer to you? He neglected and said u drive kan?! Then told me rudely to head down to the nearest HSBC and withdraw & also said âbila withdraw cari sayaâ so berlagak! I was nice enough to find an atm to withdraw cause I already I ordered the burger and was hungry! Plus the burger was not much to shout about just a normal double beef patty burger that was unseasoned đ the cheese was just a slice which u can tell it was the cheap one.
I really like to have burgers, it is one of my favourite dish but I can tell u I have tried better burgers than this and this is not worth it at all! RM22 for that burger is really a waste of money! Plus trouble towards your customer.
Honestly would recommend you to improve your service, attitude & talking style towards your customer. Also make things easier for your customer not harder đ đ .
My first & last time coming here!
Ps; if yâall read my review and would like to try this burger go ahead but just bring cash money with yâall if not the (young boss) will tell yâall âbila...
Read moreThis is, by far, one of the BEST Ramly burgers EVER. Last night we rocked up at 1.30am, completely unaware of the flavor explosion that was about to happen in our mouths.
The finesse in which this Maestro makes his Ramly burger is a sight to behold. His deft hands grill the bread buns, slice the patty so it gets a sear inside and out, seasoning like a pro as he goes, creating complex egg crepes like its second nature. Watching him cook is like watching an artist paint - smooth, quick and purposeful. Every movement of his spatula speaks to the years of expertise he has. The end result is not a burger, itâs a masterpiece of layers and layers of flavor, texture and balance.
Each burger is dressed with a combination of sauces that make it meleleh extravaganza (iykyk), topped with thoughtful fresh lightly pickled veggies and an ingenious crunch of crispy shallots (why hasnât anyone thought of this before?). I could write pages about the burgers we had â they were that good.
The vibe of the food truck was fantastic, cool music playing, a great front of house host, rocking the beats and his dreads. The kitchen and grill were so in order, organized and well maintained, with perfect mise en place of all the ingredients, absolutely clean and pristine that honestly, it would make many a five star kitchen look bad.
So in short, this is an amazing spot, the experience is so Malaysian, you couldnât have an authentic Ramly burger anywhere else in the world.
I was so happy at the end of my meal, that I went up to the chef and gave him a standing ovation. This artist truly deserved to be appreciated for the mastery, care and expertise he shows...
