Texas Chicken Uptown Damansara — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Haven't been here for some time but felt like having fried chicken and definitely not the k one. So I was looking at the menu and they have what looks like a great set for Mondays only, unfortunately it does not apply if Monday is a public holiday, so I choose the a la carte 5pcs of chicken and a large fries. Was requesting for specific parts that I wanted when the nice lady at the counter noticed that I did not order the wings. I said that those were the smaller parts when she explained that while the k brand cut their chicken into 12 parts, Texas cuts theirs into 8 parts, so I did request for a wing to try and my gosh when I saw the size of the wings from Texas, it was about 3 times that of the other brand. So happy to discover this and share with all you chicken lovers out there. Luckily they were not packed with customers today and I got my orders to go in under 10 minutes from when I made the order. Will definitely be back for my wings. Latest update is that Texas has increased their prices. It is now about Rm 47 for a 5...

This outlet used to be my go to place to get my texas chicken fixed. But today i think i will never visit this outlet again. Came to order takeway, arrived with a messy front sitting area, stuffy , not sure if the aircond is switched on. Cashier was unfriendly. The drinks section all of of the water was empty. No ice, no sodas and what not. A lady came after me ordered and try to fill her drink, ask for a help from the staff ( i believe it was the manager ) only to get sounded. What kind of service do u guys provide here. Masuk kedai muka semua masam baik tak payah kerja. And have the guts to marah customer just because of incompetency. Dont get me start with the food. Chicken was not hot or warm at all. Paid RM25 for a shrink small chicken and cold. Waited 40 mins just get my takeway food. Disappointed! Ill stay away from...

I guess Texas chicken restaurants all had a curse on them that are 24 hours operated because there are bound to be something wrong with them When I went to the Seremban highway branch, the place was dirty, faucet is broken but the a/c is freaking cold This branch at uptown damansara everything was ok except the ground floor a/c was completely broken and it was super stuffy The a/c upstairs are working but not all of them, I suspect only 1 of them is still working, the rest are also broken

The chicken is fresh and juicy though, service is good 1 of the faucet is on the way to be broken because of the water pressure difference coming out of it The lemon water is also out of stock when I was there(both of them) and nobody bother to refill it knowing very well they're 24...
