Our recent buffet experience was nothing short of extraordinary and, without a doubt, one of the best we've ever had. From the moment we walked into the dining hall, it was clear that this would be a special evening. The combination of outstanding food, efficient service, and a warm, cosy ambience set the tone for a wonderful night. However, what truly elevated the entire experience was the extra effort and personal touches that made our anniversary celebration absolutely unforgettable.

The buffet itself was a culinary delight. The variety and quality of food on offer were impressive, with every dish carefully prepared and bursting with flavor. From fresh salads to a wide range of international cuisines, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Each dish seemed to be prepared with a great deal of care, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and textures. Whether you’re a fan of hearty, rich dishes or lighter, healthier options, the buffet had something for everyone. We particularly enjoyed the live cooking stations, where chefs prepared dishes to order right in front of us. This not only added a level of freshness to the food but also brought a fun, interactive element to the dining experience.

The service was equally remarkable. Every staff member we encountered was attentive, polite, and efficient. Despite the restaurant being busy, the servers ensured that our plates were cleared promptly and that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. What stood out most, however, was their genuine friendliness. They made us feel right at home, and it was clear that customer satisfaction was their top priority.

The ambience of the dining hall was another highlight of the evening. The cosy, warm atmosphere made for a perfect setting, especially for a special occasion like our anniversary. The lighting was soft, the decor was tasteful, and the overall vibe of the space was both elegant and inviting. It was the ideal backdrop for an intimate celebration, and we felt relaxed and comfortable throughout the entire meal.

What really made the night unforgettable, though, was the exceptional attention to detail and the personal touches that made our anniversary celebration feel truly special. A huge thank you goes to Mr. Shan, the F&B Manager, who went above and beyond to ensure that our evening was extraordinary. His effort to add thoughtful touches to our table and the personalized service he provided made us feel incredibly welcomed, honored, and cherished. Whether it was the surprise anniversary dessert or the thoughtful conversation, Mr. Shan’s presence and dedication were instrumental in creating such a memorable night. It was clear that he genuinely cared about making our experience one to remember, and he certainly succeeded in doing so.

In conclusion, we highly recommend this buffet for anyone looking for a special dining experience, whether it's for a significant occasion or just a wonderful meal out. The combination of outstanding food, impeccable service, and warm ambience, paired with the thoughtful and personal touches from the staff, truly makes this place a cut above the rest. We are incredibly grateful for the unforgettable memories and look forward to...

On a serene Sunday afternoon, my wife and I were delighted to attend the Hi-Tea Buffet at Cinnamon Coffee House, One World Hotel, for the Astra Pharma Alumni’s 45th Reunion. This event was more than a reunion—it was a culinary escapade, a celebration of flavors that brought together old friends and fond memories under the embrace of an elegant setting.

From the moment we stepped into the Coffee House, the warm ambiance, accentuated by sophisticated decor, set the stage for an indulgent afternoon. The atmosphere buzzed with joy, laughter, and the clinking of glasses—a testament to the vibrant spirit of the occasion.

A Feast for the Senses The buffet was a treasure trove of culinary delights, weaving together Western and Asian cuisines into a harmonious spread. The array of dishes was nothing short of impressive, from vibrant tropical fruits to exquisitely crafted salads and richly flavored proteins.

Our gastronomic journey began with a vibrant medley of fresh fruits—honey melons, dragon fruits, watermelons, and longan—each bite bursting with natural sweetness. I then crafted a Classic Caesar Salad with a twist, blending crisp lettuce, fresh dressings, couscous, and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese powder. The result? A refreshing and textured masterpiece.

For the main course, the options were abundant, but my plate found its way to a delectable mix: buttery fish fillet, squid bathed in rich gravy, tender black pepper beef, and colorful mixed vegetables. Each bite was a testament to the chefs' dedication to flavor and presentation.

The Sweet Finish The culinary crescendo concluded with a steaming cup of hot latte, perfectly brewed by the attentive service crew. Every sip was a comforting embrace, rounding off the meal with warmth and satisfaction.

Impeccable Service, Memorable Moments The staff deserves special mention for their hospitality, seamlessly replenishing drinks and ensuring every guest felt valued. Their attentiveness amplified the joy of the occasion, making this Hi-Tea experience as memorable as the reunion itself.

Cinnamon Coffee House effortlessly blends culinary artistry with exceptional service, creating an inviting space for celebrations both grand and intimate. Whether you're gathering with old friends or exploring a new culinary horizon, this restaurant promises an experience that's as flavorful as it is unforgettable.

Would we return? Absolutely—this symphony of flavors...

GOOD PLACE TO SCAM LARGE GROUP OF PEOPLE My Rating - 0/100

Had a lousy experience last year but was forced to come back here because of a family gathering. The host chose this place because it can accomodate large group of people and also 50% discount for senior citizen and children.

Noticeable difference this time - New system where you need to place your number at the designated cup for the cooked food like lobsters and wagyu.

THE PROBLEM -

Lousy table arrangement, There is one particular table that meant for 2 person in comparison with the rest that is in groups. The issue is not the table, but it seemed more like a last minute additional table? This table had no number, initially thought that the number is only given for additional charges. Turns out our table had been cheated of a 'number', only to realize that other tables had been enjoying their cooked food as they have 'numbers' on their table. Took extremely long for the PIC to get back to mewith the 'number' for my table Half given up , placed my number at the wagyu counter. Note that the designated was empty, so I should be the first for the next round. Alas, 3 times the waiter came in with wagyu and it was served to other tables other than this forgotten table. After more than 30 minutes, it never arrived and when asked they insisted that it takes very long. WHAT A JOKE. Given up, left without the food ever arriving (AGAIN, A SCAM)

Food is only average, not worth the price and service is horrendous. With the price paid for one adult, better go to other restaurants and you will most likely get better food with better services. Satay is edible, but you can get better ones elsewhere.

IN CONCLUSION a) NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ADULTS b) FOOD AND SERVICE NOT WORTH THE PRICE c) PROBABLY ALRIGHT FOR SENIOR CITIZENS AND CHILDREN WHO WANTS TO TRY BUFFET (Although that are many great buffets at other places) d) AS A PAYING ADULT, WILL NEVER EVER STEP FOOT IN THIS LOUSY RESTAURANT AGAIN.

Also parking is lousy at this area. Don't bother stressing yourself...

Had a really lovely and memorable dinner at Cinnamon Coffee House. Service is tip top, we were greeted and ushered to our table by very friendly staff. The restaurant is enormous, and the buffet spread was very expansive. Almost too much to take in, and we had to walk around for awhile to really get where everything was! Most of the food stations were to-order, which ensures you get fresh cooked food, and not food that had been sitting around for a long time. And it also minimises food waste. Quality of the food overall I felt was really good. A couple of misses.... for example the roasted ribeye was really too, TOO far overdone as it was sliced and then left under the heat lamp. So the beef pieces were just so dry and tough. The pasta station was not clearly signposted, and it was just a small sign in the corner with no obvious display. So we also didnt realise there was any pasta served until after we finished our dinner. 🤣 And the desserts as well can be improved.. far too much gelatin used in the panna cotta, blackberry cremeux and several others, resulting in a very unpleasant gummy, chewy texture with a strong gelatin smell. Hopefully this can be improved upon! Otherwise, the majority of the food offered was very good and fresh. Special mention for the beef kuzi, percik lamb chops and beef teppanyaki. And the entire Indian food section. Absolutely delicious. Great value for money. Other things to note include the clean and comfortable washrooms inside the restaurant. And the a/c is very very cold, bringing a jacket or something warm may be a good idea.

Had a buffet at Cinnamon and here’s my honest review: Recommended dishes: • Blueberry ice cream (very refreshing and smooth) • Grilled chicken (juicy and well-seasoned) • Salmon sashimi (fresh and tasty) • Chicken soup (comforting and flavorful) • Rendang beef (tender and rich in spices) • Stewed lamb (soft and nicely cooked) • Chuka wakame (light and appetizing) • Chicken satay (lean meat – great for those who prefer less fatty cuts, though fat lovers may not like it as much) • Thai egg salad (zesty and flavorful) • Fried money bags (crispy and delicious) Siu Mai 🆗 Not recommended: • Tomyam (lacked the punch of flavor) • Fish and seafood in general (not very fresh or tasty) • Lemon fish (really not tasty at all) Noodles stall experience: I ordered chicken soup noodles and was automatically given fried fish balls with soup. When I requested prawn and crab stick, then only the chef added them. It would be much better if the stall chef could ask customers what ingredients they would like, instead of assuming. Other observations: The restaurant is strict about preventing takeaway abuse, which is good – I saw some people being stopped when trying to pack a lot of food, and this ensures everyone gets a fair chance to enjoy the buffet. The layout is spread out with many food corners, so you’ll need to walk a fair bit, but this prevents overcrowding in one area. Lots of seats and tables available, which is convenient. Overall: Variety is good, and some dishes are really worth trying, but overall taste is not “wow.” Still, a decent buffet experience.

We had the pleasure of dining at Cinnamon Coffee House during our stay at the One World Hotel. Our stay came with the breakfast buffet which happens here. We also ordered in-room dining, which to my knowledge is also prepared by Cinnamon Coffee House. Hoping this provides some context for the review. You know there's something special about the breakfast buffet here when I'm excited about it and I'm not a morning person. There are more than 10 stations serving various cuisines - Western, Indian, Japanese, Malaysian, etc. Everything was delicious and I had zero complaints about the food served. My favorites here are probably croissants, lamb sausage and roti canai. The egg station makes fantastic scrambled eggs - the kind that's runny, not the kind with hard, overcooked bits. There are several coffee machines and I particularly enjoyed the mocha from these coffee machines. There are also cheeses and cured meat at the salad bar. Logistics wise, the coffee house is located at the basement of the hotel. Breakfast buffet stops at 10:30am, with last call 30 minutes prior. You provide your room number as you check in at the coffee house and the staff seats you at your table. Each table has a placard that indicates whether the table is occupied. You flip the placard upside down when you leave so staff knows when to clean up, which I think is a good system. The staff also regularly collects dishes from tables to ensure sufficient space (it's a buffet after all).
