Edited: Monday 16 Jan visit (response to owner although it’s fairly obvious from the review date and unlikely to have been a one-off experience from the comments I gave. I seriously would expect a better response than just a request for the date. )
Summary: -expensive for small portion (or thin cuts) served -since MCO, apparently not allowed to even change mash potatoes to fries -that being said, McDonald's fries are the same or better (from another’s plate which had fries as a side) -its easily rm80 PER HEAD for 1 drink, 1 main and sharing 1 appetiser between 3 of us...yes that's all -only plus was that servers were attentive but that could be because it was not packed on that night too? -butter served with bread was UNsalted...i mean give people a choice?
Overall, underwhelming. Euro Deli has been around for ever...I used to like the vibe there but now with this (and the paper placemats)...Im sorry but Im never going back there again if I have a choice.
To the owner...seriously consider what kind of food you are serving to your customers. And if you are doing a menu revamp...suggest you still take into account diners who come in a group with different dietary needs. Example, even if 90% of us love pork, it does not hurt to keep a few really good vegetarian or seafood options on the menu (THAT ARE WORTH IT...not Dory fish fillet, and if you have appetisers, please state there is meat in it...any restaurant worth their salt would do it).
I have not written a review for the longest time for any place…today I’m moved to because this is one of the places I used to love going sometimes as a neighbourhood...

In my mind, Euro Deli has been around forever. Essentially a German delicatessen (deli for short), I started to go there even before I moved to PJ in 2006. After so many years they remain popular among locals as well as meat lovers to satisfy their carnivorous appetites.
However, it's bizarre that I seldom visit Euro Deli after I moved to PJ 🤷🏻♀️ for old time sake, I proceed to book a table and brought the whole family there on a Friday evening, frustrated by the lack of parking and the traffic jam.
◾Bread Roll with unsalted butter - ◾Cheesy macaroni bites - crispy upon the first bite with flavourful, cheesy and gooey macaroni inside. It's almost double the sinful stuff. ◾Potato skin with cheese & bacon - baked to perfection with the generous amount of bacon & cheese on top. ◾Pot of Gold (Pork stroganoff) - a rare sight to find pork version of this dish. Shredded pork fillet cooked with onion, gherkin and button mushroom on a bowl of crispy bread and topped with sour cream. Never tried a beef stroganoff before so no comparison, but this one was quite delicious. ◾ Butcher's Plate consist of ham, smoked pork belly, Vienna sausage and boiled knuckle with sauerkraut & mashed potatoes. Expected the most out of this dish but tasted pretty ordinary. ◾Iberico pork chop - 200g of Spanish happiness with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The saving point for the butcher's plate earlier. ◾Roesti potatoes with bacon - our dish of the evening. With bacon, everything tasted good!
Most of the items were above average. Service was a bit slow but I've got to give them a break as it was full house...
Read moreMe and my family tought to have a pleasant day to start with some nice and comfort food with our used to be place to go for breakfast however it turns out to be so disappointing and gave us a bad start of the day. The service is poor, waitress who was rank as supervisor turns out to be rude and impolite. The moment we walked in and saw their signage to be closed although according to their business hour it should be open so we thought of having the courtesy to just ask if they are open yet and immediately we were answered by the supervisor with an annoyed tone with raising her voice " YAH WE ARE OPEN SCAN HERE SCAN HERE! " clearly it wasn't her usual voice and tone because right after it the way she spoken to her colleague was different. Then menu showing was more or less like chuck it to my face and constantly feeling annoyed in helping to assist us. When food was serve it was just like dumping food on our table. Rude, absolutely rude. Iberico pork ribs that we ordered turns out to have uncooked pork serve which is wrong! Pork are serve in pinkish still? This is not beef that are allowed to be serve medium rare! Rule no 1 for pork serving must be cooked! When asked for their chef to verify they came back and told us that chef said its cooked and its just COLOR. THE OWNER SHOULD SINCERELY THINK ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS CONTINUITY IN SUCH MANNER, ITS EITHER YOU TRAIN YOUR STAFF WELL OR YOU CLOSE YOUR RESTAURANT AND PURELY FOCUS WITH YOUR MASS SAUSAGE...
