Read moreLocation : Located in a row of shophouses in a housing area. Parking can be difficult.
Food : This place does not serve your typical Thai restaurant offering - and all the better for it. We had 4 dishes - a beef salad, a pork belly red curry type dish, a prawn paku vegetable dish, a sea bass soup and a crispy watercress as a snack appetizer.
The beef salad had good size portions of beef that were tender and not chewy. The pork belly was succulent and not dry. And the red curry was not overpowering. The crispy watercress - once you started eating the first piece, you cannot stop.

Desert : They have their own Kompassion versions of the typical Thai deserts, like the Red Ruby Cold Desert and Mango Sticky Rice. However, in my opinion, I’d preferred the deserts to be prepared the traditional style.

Drinks : Huge variety of drinks on the menu but we brought our own wine and, the corkage was only RM10 per bottle. This must be one of the reasons to come here and BYOB. Why pay more than RM10 per drink, when you only pay RM10 per bottle of any type of liquor or wine. We also ordered a Thai Milk Tea after dinner and it was good, creamy and not too sweet.

Service : Service was good and all servers and wait staffs, were attentive and friendly. Restaurant Manager, Mr. Sim (am not sure if he is also the owner) was helpful with recommending the dishes. Tip: Sit near the counter / bar area if you want better attention and service.

Ambience and Deco : This place was brightly lit with modern deco. The restaurant was full when we were there but it didn’t get too noisy to a level where we felt uncomfortable.

Toilet : Clean. Wash basin area was also big and came with some nice hand soap, except that one of the dispensers was not working when we were there that night.

Price : Most of the dishes are priced between RM30 - 50 per dish. We ordered 5 dishes and 2 deserts, for 4 pax and we could not finish them completely, as we were full.

Conclusion : Overall, a nice alternative Thai restaurant that everyone should at least try once, if they are in the Klang Valley. Food was fresh, well prepared and full of flavors. Restaurant was clean and a nice place to dine in. Making reservations was a breeze using a link that they will WhatsApp to you. Only thing is to manage your parking (if you are coming for...
Read moreIt had been quite some time since I visited the restaurant and my has it changed in so many ways! My previous visit was drg their lunch service. Making a reservation is a must! When we arrived the place was already bustling with customers and was a full house night- not to mention some diners waiting outside for tables. We were promptly shown our table. Loved their menu presentation with many photos of their dishes + descriptions of the dishes. A lovely young chap by the name of Ryan took our order and did also recommend us some dishes. A must for me was the crab omelette that emulated a certain famous eatery joint with the same dish *ahem… eventhough I hv not had the chance yet to try the dish from that place 😅 it was a good plate of omelette with the right amount of crunchiness in the exterior vs the fluffiness in the interior of the egg dish. Loved it! The pork patty nuggets we had were compact, full of flavour and juicy- it came in recommended 👍🏼 Green curry with grilled chicken was good too; the flavour of the green curry paste plus the creaminess of the dish came through. The prawn fried rice was big in portion for the 7 of us- ‘wok hei’ was there plus it was a tasty dish. Their water mimosa veggie dish was of a rather small portion but nonetheless it was good too. Their deep fried pork ribs were tender and juicy. We sapu-ed clean this dish too! 😆 One of my fave dishes of the night was the seafood soup recommended by Ryan. The soup portion was generous with cubes of salmon, pieces of charred oysters, squid and prawns. It was indeed a delightful soup somewhat abit sour and full of seafood flavour, we went back for seconds 😋 We also ordered their mango orange juice & coconut pandan drinks both were equally refreshing and not too overly sweet. We enjoyed our meal there. Dishes came out rather fast even with the crowd. Their staff are friendly and helpful even drg a busy service. Even with a full house the restaurant was not noisy at all. They had these cloth wrapped acoustic fabric acoustic panels mounted on the wall to eliminate the noises which was somewhat comforting 👍🏼 Well done Chef Kom for your carefully considerations and delicious...
