It was one of those days when I was around KL and PJ areas to run some personal errands. Since I was around the vicinity, that I thought I shall drop by Feeka Cafe @ Happy Mansion which had good reviews. It was brunch time for me, so when I reached there just before 1pm, I was lucky to get a single seating table inside this small cafe.
Self-service was the practice here. You get your order done at their counter, collect a number tag and head off to your table. I ordered Smashed Avocado as my main meal, latte to complement that along with the temptation of an almond croissant (that had a vanilla cream filling).
The Smashed Acovado was indeed a colorful meal, that came with two large slices of sourdough bread, smashed avocado, dukkah, ricotta cheese, tomato, sunflower seed, coriander, dill and pickled thinly sliced red onion (and I don't know if I had missed anything else, but let me say, it is a delicious meal indeed). My latte had the right bitterness going with my taste bud and they served a glass of water along with my coffee too (where most restaurants fail to do this).
Since I had my latte and almond croissant delivered first, it started my brunch with a good smile. I will recommend you to try this if you are coming for just a simple meal.
The Feeka Crew at Happy Mansion are well mannered, friendly and courteous. I hope they will remain as hospitable as they are now for a very long time, keeping customers visiting Feeka @ Happy Mansion, HAPPY...

Feeka was the first cafe that I'd gone to when I first joined the car club back in 2015. At that time their only location was in Jalan Mesui - the infamous stretch, along with others nearby Changkay Bukit Bintang area that famous for the notoriously difficult parking.
I was pleasantly surprised to spot Feeka at Happy Mansion as I went to have lunch in Section 17 PJ, a place where many F&B establishments setup their business.
◾Egg Benedict Cured Salmon with bonito flakes hollandaise & chives on either sourdough or English muffin. I wasn't in the mood for breakfast that morning so she had it all by herself. The dish must be good judging by the way she gobbled down the dish ◾Salted caramel chocolate cake - nothing beats a slice of cake with kombuch while reading a book (this was separate visit) and waiting for the kids. ◾Drinks - their coffee was supplied by a dear friend of mine and knowing that, quality is there! We thoroughly enjoy the morning caffeine fix!
We went early morning so parking spots were readily available. Now I have another option to go for coffee, cake or...
Read moreFeeka has always been a reliable spot for coffee and eggs, but today was a huge disappointment. Despite always requesting a single-shot coffee, I was served a latte with 2 shots—despite double-checking beforehand. The attitude of the staff didn’t help either, which made it even worse.
The pain au chocolat was another letdown. It was clearly at least three days old. When heated, it was still cold and hard, and after requesting it be heated again, it came out crusty inside with an unpleasant eggy smell. As a baker, I know how pastries should be handled, and I was disappointed to see such poor quality.
To top it off, the avocado mash was unappetizing—brown stains on top and water pooled at the bottom. When you're paying a premium for a place like this, you expect fresh ingredients, not day-old pastries and browned avocado.
I’m walking away from this experience very unsatisfied. It’s a shame because the coffee is usually good, but the food quality needs a serious upgrade if they want to...
