Food was mediocre and not too bad. Service, however, was 🙄😒🙄😒🙄😒

When we ordered the prawn mee we repeated at least 4 times only to have meehoon and this was confirmed by the lady keying the order in her mobile phone and yet when the food arrived, the order was incorrect. Most of the staff could not understand simple English nor Malay - when we said we want to 'add' a 2nd bowl of cendol to our order to which they keep on saying we had only ordered one. Sighhhh ..

Overall, the food was mediocre, nasi lemak was not fragrant enough and the sambal for both the nasi lemak and mee siam tasted slightly burnt. There was nothing in the mee siam (only noodles - not even fishcakes or some veg) and a side of the half boiled egg.

The broth for the prawn noodles was slightly salty and diluted. However the ingredients were adequate, unlike some kopitiams where they skimp on the items they put in the bowl.

Ayam Goreng berempah was okay though, freshly fried, juicy with lots of crunchy bits. It would be better however if the chicken was marinated longer as the marination did not permeate the flesh so it meat was bland.

The curry chicken came in a small bowl and it was disappointing. Curry sauce was diluted, with just two small pieces of chicken and potato.

As for the cendol, there wasn't enough coconut milk and gula Melaka so it tastes a bit bland - although presentation wise, it looked really good when it arrived.

Probably won't be coming back again as food was meh but if you are looking for something to just fill your tummy and then this could...

NOT WORTH IT. Not worth the money, the food and the experience.

We saw other reviews about the customer service and still decided to give it a try as we were craving nasi lemak ayam berempah.

After we ordered only did they inform us we have to wait 10 mins for the nasi lemak and chicken to cook. Not only did we have to wait more than that, they served the chicken first on another plate and we had to wait for a while more for the nasi to come out, maybe for another 5 mins. The chicken was already cold by then. When the nasi came it was mushy and wet as it just came out of the rice cooker. Not tasty at all. Chicken was dry and tough to chew. Absolutely not worth rm13.20 (+ another additional service tax!!) for this horrendous meal. Might as well go to Village Park even if the queue is long. We didn’t even finish the meal.

They dare to charge a 5% service tax too for doing nothing other than serving your food and asking customers to SCAN the menu. The girls manning the floors are so slow and were busy talking and laughing instead of tending to customers’ needs. They would rather sit around at the table or the cashier counter and tell customers to scan when customers want to order with them. This place does not train their staff properly at all. No wonder the poor customer service reviews.

Anyway, will never come...

Visited this restaurant twice. I forgot to take photos during my first visit, so the meals I ordered are not visible in my attached photo.

I was utterly disappointed with their service. I waited for my prawn mee for quite a while until I finally saw a bowl of food placed at the serving desk, suspecting it might be mine. New food kept coming out, and nothing was served for quite a while until the waitress finally arrived, but she continued serving the newly arrived food! I could see the staff talking over that bowl of food, which was disgusting. I eventually decided to inform the waitress that my prawn mee, which I had ordered quite some time ago, had not been served yet. Finally, she unapologetically brought me the bowl of food that I had been eyeing.

My first encounter was with nasi lemak sambal sotong. The physical menu stated RM 6.50 (see attached photo), but the online menu actually lists it at RM 11+. I ordered based on the physical menu and was surprised that the food was not RM 6.50 as I initially thought.

The taste of the food was okay, but their service really needs improvement. Also, their toilet could be cleaner. The finished food on the tables was not cleared for some time. I think they need to hire more staff.

Given the unhappy encounters I've had here, I may not visit this...
