Yes there were many customers and delivery were expectedly late (rather very late)but for the cooks to rush and prepare the meals ordered not tallying with the pride that mohd chan Restaurants boasts is unacceptable Char kuih tiow was prepared minus togay (seems ran short of togay,bean sprout)or alternate vege was served and had to be prompted by customer before alternate vege was included Next , a takeaway kueh tiow was ordered It was prepared MINUS the eggs and again the togay or vege in the preparation It appears as though mohdchan trying their bit to shortchange their customer and again after prompting the eggs were added in the preparation This cannot be the ethics displayed by supposedly famous mohdchan chain of restaurants Now , I wonder is it that necessary for the now rich and famous mohdchan restaurants to charge 50cents for just a cup of plain water!! Many small unknown warungs are even generous enough and customer friendly to provide such simple drinks foc!! This includes many 5star hotels and restaurants that serve warm water foc Certain small Indonesian warungs even serve their teh padang bottomless for free , customer friendly ethics I cannot fathom why mohdchan still need to squeeze the customers pockets even to that last cents!! This was experienced in kelana jaya...

Went there before the pandemic slightly before lunch with my hungry daughter. Ordered to go when not many customers were around. Waited, and waited (while more customers came and got their food first) until decided to check with the waiter. Found out my order was not even prepared yet. Lost my cool and barged into the kitchen to meet with the chief cook who was in charge (there's no manager on site). Explained to her that this was unacceptable but was told a very lame excuse that the kuey teow kungfu I ordered had to take "sometime" to prepare (yet it had not even been prepared). Offered no real resolution except whether I still wanted it or to cancel it. Why do service providers like this simply ignored the fact that I wasted my time and had lost my appetite over their own incompetencies? A simple gesture to apologize will never suffice. If they had just offered something to compensate what I lost that day (like 2 free drinks for me and my daughter, or a significant discount on my order), I would have perhaps been contented. But I got nothing back. I'm never going back to this restaurant or any of its other branches. If I could post without any star, I would have because the service at the restaurant does not deserve even the 1 star I was...

Besides the minuscule vegetable portion (barely enough for 4 people), others were sufficient only if you’re small eaters. We had 9 people and mostly ladies. It was barely enough. Service was atrocious! The jug of tea was only enough for 7 people. Had to ask 4 times for a second jug which showed up half an hour later. Dishes were served in haphazard manner without sequence or the rice. Had to ask several times for rice as well although it’s part of the set.
