I want to praise this lady today who is taking care of the cafe counter 24/1/2024 . I cant recall the last time i visited this shop eventhough ive been staying in this neighborhood for more than 10 years 😅. I was looking for a tasty salad meal for breakfast. Before this, its always at Padi at Curve. Today i decided to give Obriens a try.
I had no clue whats on the menu. Then i walked into the shop hoping for some info on whats the best salad they can offer. A malay girl greeted me with the most cheerful smile😂. That was a good start for the morning.
Mind you, some of the cafes here in the Curve/ Ikano, despite me being their regular patron for months/ years, its very rare to receive a warm friendly greeting in the morning, especially with the mask on!
So she went on to explain to me all types of salads they have and i finally i ordered the one with salmon. The rest of the bfast meal u can see from my pics.
i forgot to ask that gurls name but the boss should share this will all other staffs. Im not sure when is her shift but i met her today. A friendly welcoming staffs also reflects excellent training by the company. Kudos!👍🤩
Ill definitely drop by to try other types of salads . Imagine, not visiting this shop after many years staying here. I hope you guys stay for many years. After all,i think i remember this Obriens has been here for as long as Curve itself. You reached legend status outlasting Metrojaya and even E Curve itself!👍🤩...
Read moreGood variety of Fresh ingredients, and seems consistent in terms of service and food, in terms of the taste and quality. I can only write about their sandwiches and wraps I have had. They are well put together, easy to eat as they keep their shape well, well plated and reasonable amount. If you’re a big eater you may not be satisfied with just one sandwich hahaha. The wrap itself is a better quality wrap then say the wrap used by Subway. It is slightly thicker, you can have the option of having it toasted or not. If I were to compare with Subway, in terms of salad items, the amounts put into a wrap or sandwich are more calculated and smaller unlike in Subway, but they have a better variety of ingredients and their meat doesn’t seem processed. You will be given some potato crisps (about 5 pieces is what they’re told to put 🙂) with your sandwich/wrap.
Apart from their items on the menu, you can also build your own by picking filling etc with extra charge (photo) which is what I did.
Cosy and cooler, but limited seating indoors....
Read moreWent with kids and the experience is super horrible. Very dissappointed with the quality of the food served to us. We ordered chilly tuna sandwich and chicken wrap. The sandwich bread is so hard and tge tuna is as thun spread as theg can. In fact some part of the sandwich is filled with lettuce 'ONLY'. The chicken wrap is tastless chunky chicken and vege. Thats all. The soup of the day is another disaster. Simply converted the canned readymade soup into bowl. Paid MYR56 for the horrible food. Expected better quality and ended up having lunch in another place despite spending MYR 56. We are paying and it is very dissappointed to have such a poor quality food being served in...
