Can't stress enough, really good cafe, drinks, savouries, sweets and more.

We got a huge load of stuff, the matcha sesame and the hojicha burnt cheesecake, lychee rose cake, some savoury pastries, their shaken teas, matcha, and latte.

In terms of the food and drinks, The burnt cheese cakes were rich and smooth, not too rich to make you sick, but just enough to be creamy - flavours were strong too which made it perfect. Even ordered a whole cake from them a week after. Lychee rose was great as well, not the overly tin can lychee taste and no overpowering rose, biggest thing to me was how light it was, you could just keep going. The shaken teas were all good, but our favourite was the rose black tea I believe, really refreshing. We also got a hojicha latte, matcha cloud and tiramisu latte, all of which were thick and not in any way watered down. Lastly when we thought this place was good for just desserts, we got a savoury pastry and found out we were wrong. Menu had good variety, the homemade items like the cake flavours and some drinks change often so there's always new flavours to try which I think is really cool.

In terms of ambience, Ambience was nice, good sitting and lots of space. Provided some card games and etc for people to play which was nice. Great spot for a catch up over drinks, or a dessert stop on a date.

In terms of service, Everything was quick, the staff were friendly and helpful, explained everything we needed to know and helped suggest what would go best with our order.

The cookies are absolutely addicting I could have one every single day and not get bored of it. The flavours match very well and is not too soft or too crunchy. It is worth the price because it is so memorable it’s absolutely insane. The Halloween Oreo Cupcake was definitely the star of the show. The cake was so moist and just the right amount of moistness. It isn’t dry and taste perfect. It is chilled so it is suited for those who like their cupcakes not too soft. The cupcake is perfect for those with a sweet tooth but doesn’t want it too sweet. I’ve tried many of the treats and deserts here and I have to say they all met my expectations. Everything here is baked to perfection and nothing is ever too sweet or dry. The croissants are also super good, flaky and crunchy just like I like it. The croissants have a lot of different flavours to try and the variety is very wide. Each and every flavour managed to meet my expectations and it’s definitely one of the best croissants I’ve ever tried. Palette opened its door without much fanfare - no social media, no grand opening (maybe yes but I missed it) and not much publicity - in the busy area of Dataran Sunway in KD.

Operated both as a bakery/cafe as well as baking school, the premise was decorated minimally yet tastefully with soft-coloured furnitures.

◾Can't deny that the young ones would be attracted to beautifully crafted cupcakes - case in point the unicorn cupcake that reminded her of Despicable Me. ◾Tapao-ed some Swiss rolls with cereal, chicken floss + curry leaves to try. Apart from that they also have pastries, cake slices, fruit tarts, Au Croqueline, eclair, cute French canele dan sebagainya for dine-in or takeaway. ◾on hot days, iced latte would be my coffee of choice while waiting. ◾other drinks such as iced matcha latte, kombucha and fruit juices rounded up non-coffee options.
