Very delicious, very fresh, and definitely worth the price to portion ratio. It is a bit pricey though, if you order certain dishes. The star of the meal was the sushi, and we had the avocado one which was good. I saw most tables ordered the mango one though, so that is worth a try next time. The mushroom curry is also good and very filling with the right amount of spiciness, and contains enough vegetables + mushrooms. The loh hon zai taste a bit weird and sweet though, possibly with some grapeseed extract or something sweet. The atmosphere was good but the place is a bit small and packed. There was also a long queue and if you're someone who doesn't like waiting for a seat, this could be an issue as the wait is long. You'll need to enter your name on the list with the cashier.

Food 5 stars but bad customer service. Was there with fam for lunch during CNY day 4, ordered 5 main dishes and 2 sushi rolls &5 glass of hot water, told her I brought my own tea bag. Everything was good until I requested to refill hot water, the Chinese waitress refilled one glass and asked what r u drinking? I told her that we have own tea bag, she shouted at us and say cannot refill. We were stunted n asked the reason, she repeated it in Chinese " bu neng jia" and walked away. She was so rude that we don't feel like talking to her and head to the cashier, paid and leave. What a bad experience, the waitress could have explain it in a better way or just let us know if bringing tea bag is not allowed or against your policy. We can just keep the tea bag at the first place. Each glass of hot water with tiny lemon slice was charged RM0.90 and refill is not allowed. Would expect a better customer service in the future. Thank you.

[got event ah?] 1) Overall - Vegetarian restaurant offers variety of choices, chill environment, limited seating capacity and do expect queue during peak hours, signature dishes are vegetarian sushi, pumpkin tofu, sauna, mee, petai fried rice, mango sushi, popiah, sweet and sour dishes and many more from Shiang Hai Vegetarian Restaurant 香海蔬食日式坊 2) mango sushi - refreshing and big portion, fresh and sweet mango pieces, very filling, must try 3) beetroot sushi - tasted average 4) sauna mee - simple and healthy 5) stir fry vegetable - tasted ok 6) popiah - fresh ingredient, tasted ok 7) pumpkin tofu - tasted average, a little too runny 8) milk cabbage with yam - unique dish, milk sauce was a great pair with the yam, creamy but runny 9) tomato noodle - thick tomato soup, tasted ok

I recently discovered that this restaurant is owned by the same proprietor as Mama Kim Sauna Mee. It's a fusion vegetarian restaurant that blends Chinese and Japanese cuisine. For vegetarians, this is a great place to enjoy a variety of sushi beyond the typical cucumber rolls found in most of the sushi shops. During our visit, we tried their Chinese dishes. The vegetarian fish, made from tofu, had a good flavor, but the texture could be improved to better resemble real fish. I particularly enjoyed the mushroom with brocoli. The environment is relaxing and makes for a nice gathering spot for friends and family. I plan to return to try their sushi another time. Additionally, their coconut biscuits are a great snack option for vegetarians.

The place has limited seats. Need to go there earlier or after busy time, otherwise had to wait for sometime before can get a table. First thing you will noticed their colorful delicious Sushi (vegetarian popiah) which has veges with ingredient like Mango, Beetroot, Bean Sprout, Banana, Blue Butterfly Pea and etc They also have different types of fried rice, noodles (dry or soup). And their signature dish Sauna Mee, which is Hot Pot Noodle where your pour your own soup. They sells snacks in the shop too. For those who like coffee, you might want to try their ice coffee too. Be mindful when you order too as their serving portion are quite big too. Worth the amount.

It was a 5 star at first but because we love it so much, we eventually went back alot of times, and it was during those times, we noticed tht sometimes the standard fluctuated. Normally the deviation was still ok but one time our tofu gravy still had lumpy cornflour starch in it. However, most of the time the food was delicious. Sushi varieties are very delicious and all the flavors of the ingredients inside mixed well together. Indeed a lovely burst of flavours in the mouth. Restaurant is always busy but somehow we were always lucky to get a table quite quickly so kudos tht. Waitress are friendly and helpful as well.
