BAD EXPERIENCE š¤¦š»āāļø
I was supposed to watch a movie today (10:15 AM ā Jurassic World), but the experience was completely ruined by this cinema company (Sunway Pyramid TGV). Their poor system really needs improvement and change.
When I purchased the ticket, it took 5 minutes just to get it printed. The most ridiculous part was when I asked a staff member for help, he simply told me to wait over there. When the ticket was finally printed, there was no QR code on it. I asked another staff member, and they told me to go to the entrance counter and check with Mr. Arash or Mr. Rafiq ā they would inform me of my seat number.
One of them keyed in some information and told me my seat was C12, so I went in and sat there.
Later, another customer who also had a ticket for seat C12 came and asked what seat I was in. I said C12.
Then a cinema staff member came in to check my ticket and told me that my ticket was invalid. Then the on duty supervisor (Mr.Aziz) need help to solve the issue but system also slow and lag, end up wait around 10minit give me the answer is āsorry , because of the system issue , the seat is already sold outā.
SUNWAY PYRAMID (TGV) MANAGEMENT - If your online system open to public easy to buy the ticket , is good for everyone ā¦BUT please improve and upgrade it , dont become above situation and break customer mood for that day.
Please always give complete training to Part time / Full time worker training , because they must know if case happen what should action and solve it ASAP. End up no solution and waste customer time , If you put yourself in the customerās side , you wouldnāt be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday I went to sunway pyramid tgv, booked one couple BEANIE seat for the movie John Wick 4 at 1:45pm through online app. During the movie, there areĀ two times screen blackoutĀ where the movie continue to play with audio only. The first blackout is around 3:40pm and it's a 10 minutes blackout. Seek for technical support and fixed at 3:50pm. And the second is a couple minute after where the story start to get interesting and important. The second blackout is more than 15 minutes and most of the fighting scene we missed it. As soon as the second blackout occured, we went to the counter again and the manager said technician is fixing it. AndĀ he promised us to rewind the movie 15minutesĀ so we can understand better about the movie. Then he come into the hall walking around and acting like there is nothing happened. Until the very end of the movie, all customer left already still no rewind for us. It's a totally horrible experience where we spend more money on BEANIE but ended up getting blackout and missing story. Please do check which manager is on duty during that time, he is very slow response and prosimed to rewind but nothing happened. Reasonable penalty should be given to the staff of the branch. The staff opened the hall too late, forcing people to queue unnecessarily. The ticket counter had three staff membersāone checking bags for outside food and only two handling ticket verificationāwhile a crowd of people gushed in through a single entrance with no proper control. As expected, some people cut the line, and no one did anything about it. No sense of order, no accountabilityājust complete negligence. By the time we finally entered, the movie had already finished its opening credits and music. I missed the start entirely, leaving me frustrated and confused since I had no idea how it began.
I arrived at TGV nearly 40 minutes early, spent RM40 on drinks and food, yet the seating area was cheap and uncomfortable. And why does a cinema only have one old TV on the wall, playing the same three promotional movie trailers on repeat? Absolutely ridiculous. What a disaster of an experience.
P.S. Don't waste money on the expensive popcorn setāthe normal one...
