My friend and I went to the restaurant on weekend so it is a bit crowded. Have to Q up a while to dine in. Overall the restaurant look presentable and clean. The staff will clean up the table first before you sit in the place. I will rate for 5 star. We had order few food because really hungry... Hot and sour noodle, curry fishball, beancurt xiumai, Herbal Chicken soup, wantan soup, ice bucket milk tea and Polo Bun... I think these can skipped, beancurt xiumai, herbal chicken soup and wantan soup... Hot and sour noodle is one of their recommendations, the soup is cooked with the pickled vege and tomato so soup base taste is salty sour, they will provide chili powder to make the soup become hot and sour... So for those worry about the hot you can't take it you don't have to worry, if you like super hot add all the chili powder than, I believe will burn your lips and tongue...😂...The deep fry fish fillet is another yummy side dish in the hot and sour noodle, the fish is merinated and fry so eat together with soup will bring another taste on the fish... It is hard to use words to describe... I would said the noodle you will taste it level by level, and mix all you really will enjoy the whole noodle and soup.. The curry fishball is another MUST order snack... The fishball is normal nothing special but the curry is so so so nice... I think the curry sauce definitely perfectly dip with anything... We tried dip the xiumai, polo bun, wantan, and the fried fish from the hot and sour noodle... All of dips will taste fantastic curry flavour... We would like to order sandwich to eat with the curry but they had sold out... We ordered the polo bun with a slice of butter... I think this kind of polo bun is hard to taste bad... If you like butter, you really have to try... The overall taste is slightly sweet and salty from the butter... When you bite at the polo bun the top will be chrunchy then the bun is soft and the slice of butter will slowly melt in your mouth... Omg... You will definitely want to order another one...:-) But please take note, when we arrive there is sold out polo bun, but because we ate quite slow waited until the polo bun is freshly baked out... So after we finish all food only order the polo bun... Their polo bun even you eat with full stomach you still will taste very good... Haha... As their recommendations, the ice bucket milk tea is also nice... The milk and the tea have the perfect combination not too much milk and not too much tea... It is just nice... The best is not too sweet, therefore you will not feel greasy... But I had other place better milk tea, so I would rate 4 star only... That all for my experience... If you all go on weekends please get ready have to Q up, don't come when you are too hungry...

Decided to try this hong kong cafe (19 Oct 2021, 11am) after reading so manu negative reviews here (plus the reviews at the Kepong outlet). Despite that, scores of people queuing up outside this newly opened cafe. Ok lah, not too bad. The waiter humble enough to inform us the q waiting could be up to 45min and alot preferred meal are not available as well as no take away is available at this point of time. Finally managed to secure a table after waited for over 30min. Waiter is quick to take order and food is served quite fast. Ordered a polo bun with butter. Ok, here'a the thing. If to compare polo bun from any cafe in Hong Kong, polo bun must be served hot, even if the weather in Hong Kong is cold. Polo bun must be served hot. But here, polo bun is cold. And if I were to compare with Honululu or even Jeuk Sing, I agreed with the majority comments here on polo bun by Jordan, it tasteless at the bottom of the bun, meaning it just a normal bun. Beef hor fun - looks nice on the outside but when I taste it, I could compare it with the tai chow at the stall. Hor fun is just a normal hor fun, not the hong kong version. Its too oily and its just too oily. Beef hor fun here has total different taste than the one in Hong Kong. Even beef hor fun by Honululu are taste better, just like the one in Hong Kong. I like the most on their services. Served by local, their service are quick and in good manner. They quick to apologetic when food or order are not in sequence. They do allowed us to take away when dine in while others are not allowed to. Again, its ok lah not too bad. Just like Kim Gary, Honululu or even Wong Kok when newly opened, alot people are queuing outside, that is why the waiting are longer than usual. Plus this round with social distancing, table are arranged in a manner where it does not favour the patron. Give them a little bit more time, especially the chef or cook to improve in their lead time to prepare the dish when the floor are full with patron.

First time been to this restaurant on 21/10/21 at 12.35pm.Waited about 34min. Waiter give everyone a menu to choose and order for food and drinks. Been choosing few of the food to try and feel excited to try new things. After 6min of order taken, the waiter come and inform that few of the food is out of stock. Then choose the other food again. This time the waiter say need to check for the available of the food. Waiter inform that the food is not available due to supply didn’t send the stock. I really wondered how this restaurant is open and manage since many of the food is not available . Second time to this restaurant again to try for the food that previously out of stock. 6 person check in at 1.58pm on Sunday 24/10/21.Waited about 25min.Food taste is ok but no systematic on serving food and drink. Waitress take order at 2.10pm .1st drink serve at 2.15pm then follow by food and drink served. At 2.23pm. Left of juice drink. Ask waitress to check at 2.34pm with reply wait awhile. At 2.40pm ask for the drink again and the waitress taken our ordered bill to check. At 2.58pm the drink only served. To order for a fruit drink need to wait about 45min . My suggestion for those who cannot accept to wait for an order more than 15min should ask the waiter or waitress to check those available food or drink.

As a couple of the dishes were inspired by the God of Cookery movie, I had high expectations. But as with most things in life, you ended up disappointed, only this time massively. The La zha noodles tasted bland, just empty spicy without much substance in taste. Where's the pork intestine, pork blood and pork skin? Why is there luncheon meat and chicken feet? The fish balls are also of cheap sub quality frozen fried fishballs that couldn't absorb much of the taste of the curry broth. It failed in virtually all categories taste, ingredients, quality and value. The cheese baked rice with seafood are just egg fried rice with a couple shrimps as protein, baked with a cheese top while the wonton noodles tasted just like any local wantan noodles but the taste was just mediocre and a smaller portion. Even the pineapple buns wasn't good as the crust was not well defined and the interior was too dense. As I've dined in HK several times, this one failed massively. Thumbs down. Taste factor: 2/10 Return factor: they made it impossible for me to return to try out other iconic HK dishes such as the beef fried hor fun

Arriving at 12pm on a weekday, our orders are taken quickly after getting a seat. The dry wanton noodle and drinks came pretty quick within few minutes. The braised pork rice came abit late like 10 minutes later. I notice dishes from many table also have big portion, just like the braised pork rice that I ordered. I'm feeling so full even after 6 hours later. The braised sauce (卤肉酱) is pretty mild and doesn't seems mixing well with the meat, tofu pok and egg as these ingredients are slightly darken but lack of the sauce flavor. The meat texture is good as it's chewy and nice to bite. Dry wonton noodle taste pretty good for me as the dark noodle sauce is quite flavorful, although a little too sweet. Even sweeter than the cha siew. The wanton (more like dumpling) is a let down despite the filling is quite good, it's a little salty and that's it. Ordered iced coffee-o, there's isn't much coffee flavor and kinda too sweet. Hot honey lemon is okay but not really sweet. Price is on the expensive side as the braised pork rice cost abour RM18.9, dry wonton noodle RM16.9 and both drinks around RM6-7.

Edit add on after i paid my bills. Staff eating in front of fried chicken food tray which are meant to serve food for customer, no cover!! And another staff use hand to pick up vegetables from the big tray of food. Hygene BIG FAIL!!! Food: La zha noodle 1/5 - soup base only with salty, chilli oil and dry chilli. Not something you can drink with noodles. Expired chicken feet with spoil oil smell and it's only 1 1/2 feet instead of a pair Black pepper fried rice - 2/5 - overfried pork chop. Second fried after cut makes it so dry. Not even prepare or present properly on plate. Only redemption is with wok hei Butter crunchy toast 3/5 - at least this is presentable. Ask for less sweet if you dont like too sweet food Egg tart 2/5 - frozen prepared skin, undercook and tasteless without the 'xiang' smell. Fillings can only taste sugar Salty plum coke 3/5 - normal coke , very little gas Hygene - 1/5. Reason is the waitress is all using fingernails to cross on the order sheet. WTH . Imagine they cross hundreds of sheet and using same hand serving your foods
