Spade's Burger Damansara Uptown — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Yesterday after my doctor's check up in SJMC, I went to this place to get my dinner. For the first time, there were about 3 tables being occupied by customers eating their burgers. I used to buy my burger here but so far, I have not seen so many customers in this place before. This time, I ordered 2 types of burgers- a Baconizer n a Hawaiian spicy pork burger. I waited a long time for my order. I was also amazed by the number of orders from Grab orders. There were about 3 or 4 Grab drivers waiting inside the shop. Then I discovered that the Grab app offered special offers yesterday. No wonder some y packets of burgers waiting to be collected by the Grab drivers! It was buy one burger n you get a free burger! If I knew this earlier ,I would order my burger from home instead of going to the shop n been waiting for such a long time. After more than 40 minutes of waiting, my 2 burgers were ready . When I ate the Baconizer, the pork meat patty was a bit dry n not as tasty as before. Could it be because of the numerous orders from Grab yesterday that the standard had dropped? Or was it because the meat patty was not that good or fresh n that's why they had this promotion of buy one, free one ? Whatever the reason, I hope they will improve on the quality of the pork meat patty if they want a...

If I had to compare in terms of flavours, we still feel there are more favourful patties out there, BUT to be fair I'm comparing against beef patties. So for a pork burger, these are still pretty good. 😋

However, in my humble opinion, the star of our order aren't the burgers, its the sides 😁. The fried bacon & the onion rings were crispy, with the right saltiness & eaten with the sauces provided, wow! Put them in between your burgers & I feel the burger flavours just got elevated 🤣
