Luck Farm — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Managed to get a booking for a Sunday evening, heard bookings are pretty tough to get but it was a long weekend so probably better luck. Had pretty high expectations coming in since the ratings here are very good (they offer free dessert, my guess is for 5 star rating).

Anyway, service here is VERY weird. Initially I thought 1 or 2 ppl were just off but it seems they whole crew just doesn't want to be here 😵‍💫

Food wise I enjoyed it. Most dishes were more mellow in flavor comparative to other china style restaurants. The holder for their pots, while fancy, is very flimsy. The pot kept spilling over....

We tried calling for reservations but the staff were too busy to answer, so we decided to walk in. Waited around 20–30 minutes for a table, but they served us a complimentary jug of lemon winter melon tea as we waited for than 15min. A nice gesture instead.

The staff were helpful in recommending dishes and helped us mix and match for a well-balanced dining experience.

We ordered the stone fish pot, spicy chicken, and stir-fried French beans. Everything was absolutely delicious! Portions were generous too.

Definitely coming back to try more...

Pretty crowded place so best to make reservation if you don't want to queue. There is dining limit duration. The lady on phone is really friendly and service is good.

My review is mainly towards the 3 dishes we ordered. It isn't bad but it was mediocre. We tried their crab soup fish and the crab taste wasn't exactly felt but the colour of the soup is more orange ish. The brinjal stuffed meat was recommended but I find it just alright

There are alot more dishes though that looks tempting but i didn't get to try without...
