Not your usual lunch spot as the pricing quoted on the menu would be a little pricey for daily meals but definitely would be the perfect spot for special occasions and weekend family gatherings. The restaurant is pretty spacious with two floors and family friendly as they have seating area available for big groups. The interior and furnishing of the restaurant is based on a wooden and bamboo concept, the soft lights in the room elevates the ambience of the room and just right for group photos. Sushi Zento is a non-halal establishment, its entrance is noticeable from the outside of the mall which makes it easy to be found.
Sushi Zento’s menu offers a range of authentic Japanese cuisine with a twist of fusion which will surprise the palette of their customers. One of Sushi Zento’s signature dishes would be their signature salad, the Komitamago to Bacon Sarada. The portion of the salad is pretty big and features flavoured half-boiled egg, bacon and crispy pork lard topped on fresh salad. Rather than the usual Katsudon topped with cooked items, why not try the Shake Oyako Don which would definitely be loved by salmon lovers as the rice is topped with Salmon three ways.
Another interesting item on the menu would be the Zento Rice. Now this is not the usual pizza we are talking about, this pizza features sushi rice cracker topped with salmon, eel, flying fish roe and spicy sauce. The sushi featured in the menu is also pretty comprehensive, you can also go for one of their fusion sushi rolls which are also highly...

Cheese Katsu Curry (RM32) - Rice Served with Deep Fried Pork Chop, Japanese Curry & Cheese 🍛🐷 Kabocha Korokke (RM15) - Deep-fried Pumpkin Croquette 🎃
Verdict: Sushi Zento is the perfect spot to get your Japanese food cravings fixed as they have an extensive menu comprising of all sorts of Japanese dishes ranging from sushi, tempura, ramen, sashimi etc 😮💨 Even though they’re on the pricier end, the quality of the food served really makes up for it 👍🏻💯
The Japanese curry rice was extremely tasty - it was thick, mild in spices and big on flavour 🤤 There were chunks of potatoes, carrots and onions in the curry to give it more oomph. The pork chop was also a deep fried masterpiece as it wasn’t over battered nor greasy 🤩 Thinly cut slices of pork loin was lying on a bed of hot rice while the other half soaked in thick curry 🔥 My only complain would be that there wasn’t enough cheese 😩 By the time I was served, the cheese had already melted into the curry so I could barely taste any cheese 😭 I paid extra for cheese but its taste can’t be differentiated from the ordinary katsu curry 😔
The fried pumpkin croquettes were also pretty good as the mashed pumpkin paste was sweet, and complimented well with the spices and vegetables mixed together. The side salad with sesame dressing was refreshing as it helped to cut out the greasiness from eating too much...

I have my lunch here on one of the Chinese new year weekend for lunch. Which to my surprise is not crowded with people even though is on a weekend.
Food was great as most of the food aren’t fresh. I will recommend their ramen with decent ramen and soup. I am not sure whether the soup is their own homemade soup or a packet soup but it taste good. To add on to their amazing service. Although I have mistaken the cup, they are willing to change a new cup despite my mistake. They do try their best to clear necessary plates knowing that we order quite a lot.
Our bill came out to RM350+ (mainly due to yee shang) for 5 people. This is not cheap but is good for the experience.
In short, I will recommend people to come and experience at least once. Good for special...
