Uncle Joe Burger Sinsuran — Restaurant in Sabah

This café is located between two rows of shops which are facing each other. The space between the two rows of shops is enough for a road to pass through. However, the area has been cordoned off to vehicles. Which makes this area a great place to sit back and enjoy a meal, out in the open without pesky vehicles zooming past.

The food is great. Tasty. I had their grills, so the next time I come here, I'll need to have their burgers.

This is a simple outdoor café but serving great food. The service is to be expected for an outdoor place like this. However do engage with the owner if he is not busy preparing meals for other customers. His command of the English language is good. Combine that with his intelligence and you'll walk away regretting that you can't sit here to chat with him over a beer 😅

The mango juice. Please do try it. It is sweet. It is really sweet. So I informed the owner that they should reduce the amount of sugar in the mango juice. And that was where I got surprised. They had never added in any sugar at all. They use Thailand mango to make the fruit juice. And the mango is sweet. Fantastically sweet 😋❤️

For a "road side" café, this place is great. Its not just the food but its also the owner. That combination is the winner.

[For English please scroll down] ต้องยอมรับว่าชอบร้านอาหารแบบนี้ เดินจากโรงแรม เดินมาที่ชายหาด มีร้านอาหารชื่อโจ เบอร์เกอร์ แต่ไม่ได้มีแค่เบอร์เกอร์ มีอาหารพื้นเมือง ที่ราคาถูก อยากกินอาหารทะเล และไม่รังเกียจที่จะนั่งข้างถนน ดูจากทุกอย่างที่อยู่บนโต๊ะในรูปราคา ไม่เกิน 15 ริงกิต ไม่ถึง 100 บาท เป็นไปได้ยังไง ป้า เจ้าของร้านยกอาหารมาใบ้แล้วบอกว่าบีบคาราเมนซี่ใส่ เลยถามเธอว่าทำไมมันเหมือนอาหารฟิลิปปินส์มาก เธอพูดว่า ใช่ แถวนี้เป็นชาวฟิลิปปินส์ ป้าคนขายก็มาจากดาเวา ถ้าไม่ชอบนั่งมืดๆในซอย ซึ่งก็ไม่พลุกพล่านเหมือนซอย ในกรุงเทพ) ไปกินที่ร้านอาหารใกล้ชายหาด แต่แบบเดียวกันบนโต๊ะนี้น่าจะราคาเกิน 500 บาทแน่นอน ถ้าอยากผจญภัยลองอาหารแบบนี้ที่นี่ ขอแกให้อุ่นข้าวร้อนๆนิดนึง เพราะข้าวชืดมาก I have to admit that I like this kind of restaurant. I was walking from the hotel to the beach. On the way there is a restaurant called Joe Burger. But they don't only have burgers, they serve local grilled fish . The best thing is food here is so cheap. I want to eat seafood. I don't mind sitting on the side of the road. When I turn to the table, What I ordered was not more than RM 15 (

Saya selalu nampak post uncle joe di facebook, lama2 saya craving mahu makan di sini, tapi agak menghampakan, saya sudah try corn beef with rice rasa betul2 bland & daging nya bukan corn beef pun tapi ditulis corn beef. Lepastu saya try lamb with fries, haih.. lamb nya banyak betul tulang mcm makan tulang seja saya rasa masa makan. Fries rasa bland & lembik, sudah lembik dituang sos cheese yang berlebihan lagi.. rasa cheese nya ni saya mahu komen, knp cair betul & tiada rasa cheese pun rasa bland seja.. keadaan kedai pun saya biasa juga makan tempat2 street food tapi tmpt ni dalam kedai barang2 berselerak & kotor bahagian tmpt cuci tangan nya.. pengalaman saya makan di sini agak menghampakan.. saya bukan berniat menjatuhkan tapi tolonglah baca review2 begini & make improvement instead of marah orang cakap benda betul. Kebenaran memang pahit ditelan, but please make improvement, I put high hope & hoping to come again when there is improvement in their foods taste, tekstur, neat &...
