Delicious Sang Nyuk Mian in KK

In PJ, my favourite place to eat sang nyuk mian will be Ding Xiang in Damansara Uptown. I have been going there since they opened for business. So when in KK, how can I miss eating to this delicacy where it originated from? I'd been looking for a good place, not necessarily the best one but rather convenient and near to our hotel.

Kim Heng Lee in Sinsuran seemed to be the best nearby, so we drove here for breakfast before heading to our destination of the day. The first thing that I checked when I entered the premise was their cooking station. The aroma and sight of their food were very inviting.. good sign.

◾Silky hor fun cooked in soup or dry style - slurping was made effortlessly. The soup alone was murky, sweet and tummy comforting. ◾Fiery yet addictive chilly sauce - one of the vital ingredients for the noodle to provide oomph ◾Thinly sliced pork meat - thinly cut and smooth texture. Adults and kids alike approved it. ◾Innards - intestines, kidney, liver .. again, if you love spare parts, this will appeal to you because everything was cleaned thoroughly.

When I came here, the food was generally good. At the time when I wrote on this place, I'd noticed many...

My friend recommended this shop for me to try sang yuk mee and it's around 10 minutes walk from the hostel I stayed. The taste of the noodle and the meat met my expectations. Although the noodle is slightly oily, I assumed that's how it's supposed to be. On top of that, there are some fried pork lard in the noodle which added more flavour and texture. The meat is tender and the seasoning of the soup is just right for me as it's not too salty with some umami tastes from the meat. However, I gave 4 stars as the normal portion is too small and it's priced at RM12.20. You could get meal with bigger portion with this price range. Overall, it's worth a try but I would explore other...

Ohhhh.. I love ❤️ this Sang Nyuk Mian- 🐽 Noodle Shop in KK. Recommended 👍🏻. Old coffee shop- cleanliness- acceptable. Service- fast 💨. Food- Great, Yummy 😋- Savoury soup base and the dry noodles taste 👅 good too. The pork slices- really up to the name of Sabah Sang Nyuk- thinly sliced, very soft/tender- absolutely loving 🥰 it. Comparing to other Sang Nyuk Mian places in KK- this one☝️ rated the 🔝. I still love the Seremban Sabah Loi Fa- Sang Nyuk Mian- though the pork slices are not that tender/ thin- the dry noodles is definitely more tasty- with great aroma. Coming back for more- yes yes 🙌- I will definitely come back to this shop if I do...
