Hotel Kooler Inn — Hotel in Borneo

Myself and two friends stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel itself is kept extremely clean, the rooms are cleaned everyday, has good WiFi connection and the staff were so helpful, they couldn’t do enough for us. ||||One day we came back and the showers weren’t working; this can happen anywhere and anytime. However, the hotel manager made sure he got this sorted ASAP and called a plumber in to fix it straight away. The hotel couldn’t have done anymore for us.||||Location of the hotel is spot on, it’s minutes away from local shops, bars, restaurants, markets, the sea front and the jetty’s whereby you will want to get a boat over to one of the five islands off the coast of KK.||||One final note, the people behind the reception desk were fantastic. They pointed us in the direction of the best areas to go and they also arranged our taxi to the airport for us.||||Would 100% stay...

I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Kota Kinabalu. I opted for a cheaper hotel as all that I needed was a bed and not much else. |The staff were very friendly throughout my stay and very helpful. |My room, although fairly small, was very cosy and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the air co ditionong worked well. The bathroom was ok, just a big wet room really, but served it purpose.|As other have also said, the walls are a touch thin, but I slept well both nights and I wanted to be up early anyway, so it didn't actually bother me too much. I guess for those requiring a lay in it may be more frustrating. There isn't any restaurant etc on site, but lots around in the near vicinity. There isn't a pool, but again I didn't require one.||If I return to the area I wouldn't hesitate to...

Convenient location. I booked due to the high rating by booking.com. What I was not aware of was the karaoke bar next door. I was not able to sleep as the room was not sound staff were very nice and accommodating but the manager was.
