McDonald's — Restaurant in Sarawak

I've been here before and after the renovations have been done, it is quite empressive as the old look is replace with a more modern architectural design with lots of contemporary design and beautiful murals that invoke the sense of peace. We might think that this place might be crowded but most of the times it is peaceful with plenty of area to sit down and have a meal either with yourself or others. The space is not limited but there are 3 areas where you can eat that is downstairs, upstairs and on the side of the upstairs section which mainly for children parties but if you like to have more privacy the children party area is a go to as it is so quiet when of course there is no children oarties going on lah. The payment method is interesting too as you can either self order or order it at the counter. You pay either using your cards or cash at the counter. I found that using the self order machine is far more interesting and fun as you can customise your order to what you want and know how much it cost. Usually if you do that at the counter most of the time you will either confuse yourself or the cashier hahaha. This is the very first McDonald's Outlet in Kuching and it is still operational!

Usually this outlet will be packed with tonnes of people, especially during at night and weekends. Until all seatings are available on the 5 foot pathway before.

Staff service are as usual and normal. The place is cleaner than before, staffs are usually behind counters more and everything are using the latest digital ordering system.

The only problem for this place is the 'limited parking space'. You'll either choose to park at any of the mall's or hotels or park further away to walk to the restaurant. IF YOU'RE LUCKY, then you'll meet a free / empty parking space. Prepare your Parking Coupons. Some people would rather parking beside the 'yellow line'.

Extremely bad & slow service. Seems like Mcd is now switching their staff around their stores. Today’s service staff & management was really bad. Staff were laughing around, slow, seeming busy, but nothing was Moving much. There were people waiting till they could not stand and entered the counter themselves to get the food. Most food were left sitting on the counter with barely anyone arranging and calling out the numbers. After waiting almost an hour, When asked about number, staff just pretended to look at it and kept doing their own thing. Worst part is, there was a manager & assisting manager, & they just let it be. Mcd, please improve your management. Fast food waiting a while is reasonable. But fast food is fast food. Pls improve...
