Probably the best n affordable BBQ steamboat at Genting Highland! Watch the video I upload here.
Giving it 5 stars because of the location is great as it just near to First World near First World Sky Avenue Bus Terminal.
This restaurant should crown the best BBQ hotpot in Genting Highland and this is why… the price is average, restaurant that offer BBQ and steamboats together is only this, it offers fresh own grow veggies, the food is tasty, the dining seating area is open to welcome the nice cool weather.
Only one thing that the restaurant needs to do is to have consistent food supply, because about 10pm after I end a movie show, the restaurant has run out of meat … so not enough food to hang on throughout the operation hours.
⚠️How to get to this restaurant, this is very tricky at first when I enter into this Gohtong Way, it is like a “secret chamber” this Gohtong Way has few others restaurant which is not easy to be found.
If you at First World hotel, beside Cinema there is an escalator to basement… so just one level down, you need to enter into the entrance that looks as if you are going to SkyWorld Theme Park, the entrance looks similar. Once enter the entrance turn to your right side and walk down abit and you’ll see this restaurant located at left corner, it’s like a shophouse.
Another way into Gohtong Way is from inside the shopping mall, to find “Grandma Restaurant”, you can see an ultra big screen outside the window panels, from there you should be at upper floor and looking down lower floor is a grand hotel look lobby, find an escalator down and you see the black doors, push open it and go down the escalator again there you will be an Italian restaurant and a food court, just walk into the food court and you reach GohTong Way where the “big screen” is, so if you face the big screen then turn to your left side walk 3 mins you will see this BBQ steamboat!
Nice must try! Good luck...

Because, the only good things about this place is probably JUST the ambiance.
I wonder how does this place not described as a salad garden instead of a hotpot.
Came because of the hype but nahhh, not worth the money at all. Like seriously not worth it!!!
Ordered the set of vegetables and meat platter (Genting Gardens Basket with meat) but guess what? They thought we are a cow so, they served 70% vegetables and only 30% meat with a portion enough to feed just a budding teenager rather than 2 full blown adults, lol
Had to order extras meat but enough or not? Of course no la and with the price they set??? SUPER FREAKING EXPENSIVE.
Not sure why we spend RM344 just to have literally the worst hotpot in our life.
Food especially the soup? Not good. We ordered Chef Specialty of Tomato soup, collagen soup and Spicy mala soup… All sucks! Vegetables are undeniably fresh but meat? too little and not so nice. Even my mumy can do better skewers than this place if it’s only cooked/fried with salt and turmeric with lil bit of spices as garnishing, lol
Service? Have to always call the staff to get things done like replenishing the drinks and soup or adjust the freaking heat.
Ambiance? ok la, nothing special so, no comment.
Will we come back? NO. Is this place recommendable? NO. Reasonable price?...
Read moreThe only redeeming feature of this place is the fresh Genting air flowing into the restaurant. Unfortunately, everything else has gone downhill. The food quality has significantly dropped since the early days, and the menu has been downsized drastically. What used to be an elaborate and satisfying dining experience is now just disappointing and lackluster.
Even the "hydroponic garden," which once felt like a unique feature, was uncomfortably warm—I genuinely wonder how the vegetables survive in those conditions. RM5 for a subpar sauce section and RM3 for refillable water and tea feels unjustifiable.
Three of us spent over RM180 and still left feeling hungry. It’s such a letdown, especially for a place we used to make trips from KL just to visit. I truly hope the management takes steps to improve the food quality, or that the space is taken over by a better hotpot restaurant. For now, it’s just not...
