Lao Di Fang — Restaurant in Selangor

Breakfast menu looks good but 80% of the items are not available. When we placed our orders of 3 loh mai gai, 1 rice roll shrimp and some drinks, the staff said that the rice roll shrimp would take a while. We agreed and the order was keyed in at 10:04.

To our surprise, the rice roll came in not too long after our drinks. As for the loh mai gai, it has been 20 minutes and those 3 loh mai gai are nowhere to be seen. Logically they only steam this dish but it takes way too long. When I asked the captain, she said it takes 45 minutes and she could cancel the order for us if we would like to.

Shouldn’t the staff inform us when we handed the order list? If you could tell us that the rice roll would take a while, why couldn’t you tell us that loh mai gai would take 45 minutes????? And the fact that rice roll came is quicker than what we expected and loh mai gai is still not served???

Ate with my family here on 31st Mar. Took 32 minutes for a simple Polo Bun burger with an omelette. After the first 25 minutes, the waitress said there were a lot of customers and we would need to wait even longer. We asked if we could cancel, and she said we can't, so we were forced to wait to receive food we no longer wanted. We asked again if we could cancel the order because the rest of us already finished eating, she said: "Uncle, there are a lot of orders, you understand ah?" SUPER BAD SERVICE!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Ordered porridge but only took a few sips so I request to takeaway. Then I was informed that they don't provide takeaway boxes. Funniest part is, they do provide Food Panda food delivery services. HOW THE HELL DO YOU PROVIDE FOOD DELIVERY WITHOUT TAKEAWAY BOXES??!! The staffs explaining that they only allow dine in and foodpanda delivery WITHOUT ANY SIGNAGE MENTIONING.
