Penyet Express - Central I-City — Restaurant in Shah Alam

The food was very,very disappointing. The aunties on the side of the road can do better.

I ordered the Ayam Penyet set that comes with an unremarkable lump of rice,dry and pretty sad ayam penyet and 2 small tempe rectangles and worst of all,a single rubbery slice of cucumber garnished on a single piece of cabbage. It's pretty depressing to eat through. Oh,i also ordered Kangkung belacan as a side dish for RM9 and it is okay,but nothing you can find cheaper and in bigger portions at a food court or a stall.

It also came with some soup that might as well be plain water from how tasteless it was. The sambal was okay i guess,but everything else was at such a bad quality that it barely improved the meal i had. Pls...

Great customer service..even ordering done qr but customer service was superb..staff very friendly and attentive..the food was decent, and limited items available possibly due to weekend. The sambal was exceptional. I accidentally spilled my drinks on the table, but the all the staff responded swiftly without second thought..one of them asked my family to move to another table nicely so they can clean the mess and another staff arrived with the mop bucket and cleaned it immediately..they even replace my drinks right away without me asking..and they even refuse when I'm tried to pay for the replacement drink. Thank you so much for your gratitude...

service- we came in, the restaurant only had one table that had already finished eating. we asked for baby chair and the waitress just said 'ambik sendiri, kita busy'. then she just walked away. ok, if you were really busy doing nothing walking around then just tell us politely. we would be ok to take it ourselves.

food - the first time i came, the taste was excellent then the second time, the sambal tasted weird like not fresh.
