This restaurant provides very poor service. Despite being a hawker-style establishment with free seating, I encountered two types of tables upon entering: one accommodating 5 to 6 people and the other 4. The latter included both square and round tables. While I understand that during peak hours, larger tables might be reserved for larger parties, there were both big and small tables available when I visited. I chose to sit at a small table for convenience in receiving my food, as I am a regular customer who typically only orders Chinese tea. However, the staff at the water station insisted I move to another table because I was dining alone. It seemed as though they were looking down on customers who only ordered Chinese tea. Moreover, I occupied the table for a maximum of 15 minutes, and all my food was pre-ordered via phone and ready upon my arrival. If the restaurant has a seating plan, they should consider stationing someone at the entrance to guide customers to...
Read moreWe haven't patronised this restaurant for some time. The last before now, was maybe 3 years back? That time our bill was slightly above RM100. Now, it was slightly below RM200 for the same headcount and about same dishes. Still ok considering the depreciation of our Ringgit. BUT!! The size of the dishes significantly reduced to less than half the previous size! Last time we have to beg everyone to eat some more in order to finish the dishes. Now we have to fight for them! After dinner, we have to drink a lot of tea to fill up, else we are not full! Of course we can add more rice, but that's beside the point. Price increases are unavoidable over the years but don't shrink the size also lah... Food still taste good though, that's the only good thing. One comment on the fish, we ordered fish slices with green onion and ginger. The fish are not in slices but chopped up like chicken! Big huge chunks chopped at the wrong angle/direction, know...
Read moreFood taste is ok, price is a quite high for their portion and quality. Main negative feedback is that the waiter (chinese guy) is very rude. We came in and told them our no of pax and saw an empty table. We wanted the empty table but he refused to let us use it and ask us to wait for them to clean a recently occupied table which was dirty.
When calling for waiter and ordering food, he seemed so uninterested and so reluctant to explain and answer our questions. Basically he is very lansi.
The atmosphere there is not suitable for gathering to chit chat and catchup. Its too noisy and cramped. We had to adjust our seats multiple times because the table cleaners needed to push the carts of dirty dishes.
The standard of this place has really dropped. What a shame because i came here 6 months ago and it was really good.
I wont recommend this place to anyone from now on. Unless they improve their food...
