The restaurant gives customers a free mantou dish for 5 star reviews, which likely explains why there are so many 5 star reviews. Personally I really dislike it when restaurants offer rewards for 5 star reviews because it makes the reviews unreliable and not very useful in general. Having said that, the restaurant itself is not bad. The meat quality is decent, decor is interesting old Chinese style and the mala soup is good. The collagen soup however tastes only like regular chicken soup. The condiments and fruits selection are average. The complimentary dessert is a Marigold ice cream cup. Service is fine but can't compare to the leading hot pot restaurants. Overall it was a good experience but just not as good as other hot pot places. I might bring visitors here because the decor is different and the toilet is superbly clean, but for a regular hot pot place I would go elsewhere. There is valet parking which is useful.
