I had chosen the pickup service through my Grab app, which indicated that my order was ready. However, upon arrival, I was informed that it was not. When I inquired politely about the delay, your staff member, Erna (who wears glasses), responded rudely, stating that the system had not updated. I then asked if the order could be prepared as soon as possible, as I needed to leave for work.
While I was waiting, another staff member told Erna that she could go on her break, to which she loudly and purposefully responded that she did not want to because she was “not in the mood.” This level of unprofessionalism was shocking, and unfortunately, I now understand why some of my friends have warned me about the slow service and poor attitude of staff at this location.
As a loyal customer, I am extremely disappointed by this experience. I expected courteous and efficient service, but instead, I was met with unnecessary rudeness and unprofessional behavior. I hope your management takes this matter seriously and addresses the issue to prevent similar incidents...
Read moreDropped by CBTL Bandar Puteri for a late brunch around 10:45am. The setup is your standard CBTL—clean, cozy ambience, nothing out of the ordinary, which is fine for a typical coffee chain.
Food-wise, it was just okay. Nothing particularly stood out, and for the price point, I expected a little more. Slightly disappointed on that front.
Service was borderline decent—not great, but not terrible either. However, the front-of-house staff was a letdown. Could be a mismatch in hiring or just the wrong personality for the role. It makes you wonder if more attention needs to be paid to hiring genuinely motivated and customer-friendly profiles, especially for the frontline.
I came during a non-peak window, so parking was manageable—but I can imagine it being a nightmare during busy hours. Also, the noise levels from the crowd can get pretty overwhelming during peak times.
Overall, an average experience—CBTL should really consider stepping up in areas that affect first impressions and the value...
Read moreTerrible service at Coffee Bean. The cashier, Komal, didn’t even greet customers. I stood in front of the counter for almost 5 minutes, thinking maybe the system was down. Only when I asked did he finally say I could order. Come on, how can you just let a customer stand there without even looking up or acknowledging them?
After that, I placed an order for both food and drinks. I paid, sat down, and later checked the receipt—no drinks were included. Clearly, Komal wasn’t focused. How can I order food without drinks? So I had to order again. When the food was ready, I picked it up. But for the drinks, there was no buzz on the device. Instead, another customer had to tell me that the barista just placed my drinks on the counter next to me, without even passing them to me directly. Very rude.
I’ve attached a photo just to show the situation. The circled spot is where they left my drink. I was sitting right next to it, and it was actually a group of customers in orange shirts who informed...
